- Are children allowed on the New Year's Eve Dockside Bash?
- Unfortunately, children and minors under the age of 21 are not allowed on the event. Since we are aiming for a fun and safe night out for adults and there will be complimentary alcoholic beverages served during the celebration, this event is not suitable for anyone under the age of 21.
- Is there an age limit for this event?
- Yes, all attendees must be at least 21 years old.
- What exactly do we see during the Dockside Bash?

- Is food served during the event?
- Light hors d' oeuvres will be passed by our courteous and professional crew throughout this 3 hour celebration.
- How about drinks? Should I bring those?
- No, it is illegal for you to bring alcohol of your own on board. Our New Year's Eve Bash includes beer, wine, champagne, soda, and bottled water. (One quick note: we will serve a few rounds, but it is not an unlimited booze-cruise. We aim to create an elegant, relaxing, peaceful, and safe experience for all of our guests.)
- Is the Schooner Adirondack III safe?
- Absolutely. While known for its speed, the Schooner Adirondack III is a safe and gentle vessel and will be tied up at the dock for this event. Along with your captain, there is a minimum of two crew members on every event to make sure you feel comfortable and at home on the our vessel. We are stocked with water, blankets and life jackets should you feel you need one. There are also private marine heads (bathrooms) and salons below.
- How steady is the vessel? Am I likely to get seasick?
- This event is dockside and will be tied up to the dock right outside the Schooner Wharf Bar. It is very rare for our guests to become seasick. While most people do not experience any sea sickness on the schooner, you may want to consider light medication if you normally take it for motion sickness. We cannot officially advise you to take any medication, however.
- Is there a bathroom on the boat?
- Yes, the boat is equipped with two bathrooms that are accessible at all times. We call them "marine heads" and they are unlike the bathroom you use at home. It involves pumping and there are simple directions posted in the bathrooms on how to use them.
- Can I stow anything (eg, my luggage) during the event?
- There is an area below deck where you may store your belongings. Please keep in mind that this area is not guarded, so we cannot take responsibility for any broken, lost or missing items. But we have not had any problems with items being left on prior events.
- Am I allowed to leave in the middle of the bash?
- Yes! Since we will be dockside for the entire New Year's celebration, passengers are welcome to visit the neighboring bar or take a quick stroll if they'd like. Just remember, don't go too far, because the fun is on board the Adirondack III!
- What should I wear?
- For our New Year's Eve Bash we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and footwear (high heels are not recommended). Feel free to come in light, casual clothing, but bring a light jacket just in case!

- This event will stay at the Dock.
