Great event for a family with four kids

We enjoyed our trip a lot. It was a beautiful day, and we sailed most of the way. Well worth it. If we did it again, we'd have lined up to board a little early and gotten a more comfortable seat.

Family group with 6 adults, a three year old and infant celebrating Grandfather's 75th. Birthday. Very active grandson (3) was so very well behaved and fascinated with the boat and the views. Was a special way to spend a special occasion. Loved it.

More of a tour

I wish the captain had more historical facts about the island and surrounding buildings, points of interest. I've done this sail about 3 times, so it really starts to become the same thing without this. thanks

A Special Sail in New York Harbor
Sat, Jul 21, 12   1:10 PM Richard12 Male 60-69 Domestic Tourist(s) Family With Children
This two hour sail is a special way to get on the water and see the New York harbor and skyline. Most important, the crew and captain made the trip special with a great effort to insure the comfort and enjoyment of the participants. The complementary soft drinks and beer were a wonderful addition and were served with special attention by the crew. Safety instructions and directions were specific and important. The captain's pertinant and pleasant comments were appropriate without being intrusive and continuous so we could enjoy the sail without corny accompaniment or on board music, just the wind and the harbor sounds. The 105 foot schooner built a few years ago was in perfect contition and maintained to perfection.

A great time!

I definitely recommend this. The boat was beautiful, the crew was very friendly and knowledgeable. There's no annoying tour guide with a bull horn. There is complimentary water, soda and beer. We were also able to purchase a bottle of champagne on board (or wine if you like). Thoroughly enjoyable time!

Very nice experience for out of towners!

It was a fun time with great views of the Statue of Liberty. One of the nice features was that the boat wasn't "crowded". This gave all of us room to move about and obtain great views. We didn't have enough wind, unfortunately, but it was still a good time. Great for out of towners...

A perfect way to spend a Summer afternoon!
Sun, Jul 15, 12   3:40 PM NCamillo Female 40-49 Combination Family Without Children
My husband and I love taking boat rides as a way of relaxing and spending some quiet one on one time. This afternoon cruise through the Hudson was a perfect way to do just that. Great wine, great company, and a sailing team that was so nice and friendly. We brought a picnic lunch which I recommend others to do. We would go again in a heart beat.

Really appreciate that you recycled all the cans and that you used compostable plastic cups. Thanks.

great tour with TLC

We loved the tour. In the last twenty minutes, though, my eighteen year old daughter began feeling sick from the heat. Not only did the crew allow us to disembark first, they helped my daughter off the boat, accompanied us to the pier, provided water and gatorade and sat with us until she was able to be moved to a cooler spot. They accepted no additional funds. They were genuinely concerned and extremely helpful. I was truly touched by their actions and much relieved that I had assistance with my sick daughter in an unfamiliar city. Thank you..........
