Don't Miss This Manhattan Opportunity

This was definately a new highlight of the city for us, although my best friend and I have visited together many times. Our day was sunny and warm, but I can imagine having just as great a time on a grey day as the views are spectacular and the yacht is a beauty. The food was marvelous and plentiful throughout the cruise and the staff was friendly and attentive. A great relaxed afternoon for 2 friends like us, but equally enjoyable for the birthday party of 15 or so that we met on board (small infants to seniors). Very nice to have a small, intimate group size instead of the hundreds we saw hanging off other cruiselines on the trip. Well done Mark, Allison and Staff...we'll be back with our husbands next time. I had hoped the great Zerve reviews we read before booking were accurate and we were NOT disappointed!

Mother's Day Cruise

My girlfriend and I took our Mother's on a Mother's day cruise. We all enjoyed the relaxing time spent eating, talking, seeing the city in a new and exciting way. I've lived in NYC for over 10yrs and my girlfriend was born and raised here and it's one of those things like the Empire State bldg that lots of us residents of the city never bother to do. Do it! It was worth the time and IMO minimal amount of money for something new and different. Just the right amount of time, not too much for us fast paced NY'ers that don't like to slow down and not too little for those of us who demand value for our $$. Have fun!

Forget those boring hotel brunches!

Brunch with a view! Crew was great! The cruise went completely around the island so you really got to see a lot! We would have liked a little more narration by the captain but our daughter was from NYC and was able to point out things. The captain did point out more things on the second half of the cruise . . . including some interesting Titanic trivia. The food was VERY good and more was constantly being brought out. We liked the fact that we were able to be both inside and outside. The seating inside was a little crowded. It was without a doubt the most fun Mother's Day Brunch I've been to! (Mothers were given flowers at the end of the cruise . . . the last of many nice touches!)

Overall very good experience

I especially enjoyed the smaller, intimate size of the boat - seating about forty people - as well as the boat’s retro ambiance of classic wood. The crew size and service was excellent. Attention was given to detail – Mother’s day take home bouquets; flowers on all the tables. This three hour cruise around Manhattan Island was interesting historically and visually. I personally would have liked more narration regarding history and buildings.

Great get-together idea

My siblings and I gave the cruise to my dad as a gift for his 70th birthday. There were 15 of us, including kids, and everyone had a great time. The crew was very friendly and not too obtrusive, the brunch was fine, and the seating inside the boat was comfortable.

The best NY tour we have been on

We have visited New York many times and have been around it on an open-top bus; over it by helicopter but never around it on a boat. We were not keen on some of the large tourist boats available, as we thought their scale was offputting. This trip around Manhattan was great. The boat was spacious and its style was very pleasing - you felt you were on a "proper" boat, not just something cobbled together to herd tourists around in. It has a lovely ambience. The food provided was just fine. The views were terriffic and the absence of commentary a welcome relief. It's an enjoyable, unusual and relaxing way to get a new perspective on New York.

The way to see New York City
Sat, Apr 14, 07   11:00 AM JudyRaze Female 40-49 Domestic Tourist(s) Family Without Children
This was my first trip to New York City. My husband and I had reservations on the sunset cruise (1 1/2 hour cruise), but unfortunately, due to high winds, the trip was cancelled. The reservation desk called me to let me know the cruise had been cancelled and suggested booking on the brunch cruise the next morning. We agreed and took the 3 hour cruise (full island) which included a very well laid out brunch. We were able to book this elegant cruise for no extra charge. It was very intimate and relaxing -- no loud guides telling you to look out the left side for a view of . . . -- no loud music so that you could have quiet conversations with your companion or group. The Manhattan holds approximately 40 passengers, our cruise had 21 passengers -- there was no tripping over each other to see the best view. It was unhurried, with excellent views of everything you could possibly want to see in New York -- the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the U.N. building, the Empire State Building, Yankee Stadium and all of the bridges that New York is so famous for. No tourist trap here. Loved it!!

Wow...they helped make a dream come true!

I wanted to find the best and most romantic way to ask my girlfriend to marry me...and this was it! The staff was so helpful even before I ever stepped on the yacht or even met them. I called ahead and they immediately gave me suggestions and advice on how to go about asking her on the cruise. Once there they helped put me at ease and keep my surprise before I asked her. Everything went off without a hitch and besides the wonderful crew the cruise was a great way to see a city I grew up just outside off and spent tons of time in since i was a kid. Thanks.

ROMANTIC!

This is a phenomenal cruise to bring the special woman in your life on a special occasion. Maybe even your parents that are visiting and want a nice tour of the city. The food is great and the crew is awesome. When I went, some guy sitting next to me proposed to his girlfriend right infront of the statue of liberty. Its a great 3 hours well spent at the cost.
