We were very happy that the weather was sunny and comfortable. We found the crew helpful, friendly and courteous. We also thought the food was very good and ate until we couldn't eat anymore. Personally, I was disappointed that the Falls were not on, but you didn't have anything to do with that. :-) Anyway, I would have been happy with a few more words about the things we were able to see while in the Northern section of Manhattan. However, overall we all liked the trip and would not only recommend it to others, we'd go again. Thanks for a great afternoon!

The food was too much, but very tasty. The Captain gave us details about major land marks along the river and we were able to take awsome pictures. The staff was looking out for everyone, making sure we all had enough to eat, drink, and were comfortable. They also prevented some from falling when the yacht crossed a rough wake.
I enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend it to my friends. |

Went on the brunch cruise to celebrate my mom's 83rd birthday.
There were 11 of us (though 3 failed to make the 11am departure due to Manhattan traffic). So be early!
Weather started out drizzling and grey but soon cleared -- the sun was shining and the ride was smooth sailing.
Good food kept coming out (I didn't realise and so loaded up on the first of 3 courses).
Captain gave some good info (and not too much) over the loudspeaker.
My mother suggested to the captain that they play Amerca the Beautiful when we pass by the statue of Liberty. I think that's a great idea. Unlike alot of the sites you will see along the skyline -- condos and office buildings; Lady Liberty really stands for something deeper.
A great trip -- thouroughy enjoyed it. |

A great not-too-touristy way to see NYC

Our group included 2 seniors, 5 adults, and 4 children, ranging in age from 10 -14. Everyone really enjoyed the trip, even though it rained most of the way around Manhattan. The cabin is comfortable with windows everywhere so you can easily see around even if you can't go outside. The food is good and plentiful - and it keeps coming throughout the ride, so don't fill up on the first go! The crew is small but accomodating. There is no guided tour over the loudspeakers, instead there is soft music and books that identify all the Manhattan landmarks as you go by. You see sides of the city that you'd never see from land - it's beuatiful, interesting, and relaxing. My only complaint is that they refused to reserve seating for our large pre-paid party that included seniors with mobility problems, even though it was raining and the cabin was sure to be crowded. It all worked out because the kids rushed ahead and saved a table for us all, but the stress of worrying about my parents' comfort for a 3 hour trip seemed unnecessary. Aside from that I would highly recommend the trip to all ages except active small children. |

We enjoyed the Manhattan Yacht Cruise so much! We loved the fact that it has a full and clear view behind glass all around the yacht when it was raining that day. We also enjoyed the variety and quality of food served all the time, in addition to the great service that was provided. Also, the yacht was so smooth on water.. no turbulance or swaying.. just a perfect ride! we loved it... thanks to the crew for an enjoyable time! |

The bartender

There was one incident that had a negative effect on the trip: My cousin ordered a Bloody Mary. There was so much pepper in it that he almost chocked. I assured him that he would get another drink or that the bartender would alter it to a drinkable version. Please note I live in New York, and I was so sure that there would be no problem. After all, this was a de luxe cruise. However, the bartender threw the drink out and in a very surly voice informed my cousin that he would have to pay for another drink.
It wasn't a question of money, it was a question of the bartender's attitude.
It really bothered me because I had told them how generous Americans are, and it was not a question of getting a free drink. it was only a question of getting a DRINKABLE DRINK. |

This boat/brunch tour of NYC was excellent. The boat is small, so there isn't too many people to cause any confusion/noise.
The food was good, and there was enough for everyone. There might have been more plain-type of eggs instead of only the quiche. There could also have been a big fresh fruit salad; and more desserts.
The only point I would make, is that there should be more commentary about all the sites you pass along the way. The people running the tour were friendly, and helpful. As a New Yorker myself, we felt that many of the buildings, etc. were not mentioned. Many of the people aboard were tourists from foreign countries, so they wouldn't know.
Good trip> NOt cheap...but worth it. |

It was nice to see the city on a cruise from a different angle I don't get to see. Only thing is rained on the day of our cruise. |
