Brunch aboard the classic Motor Yacht Manhattan on a sail around the City. Enjoy the island as it was meant to be seen, from the water!

Great atmosphere. Only thing to make it better would be some deserts!

Don't eat before arriving--loads of food and variety. The additional drinks are only four bucks which any NY-er will tell you is a good deal. We went on a rainy day and I still have to say it was an excellent way to celebrate my anniversary!

The boat trip around Manhattan was well organized and enjoyable. The captain/guide was well informed. The deck hands were friendly. The boat was comfortable and the food was good.

We took our 13 year old son on this trip for his birthday-as he requested. The boat is spacious and the crew was very kind and helpful. The food was great and had plenty of variety. The tour was just amazing and we could come and go from the cabin to the deck as we pleased without crowding and there were plenty of opportunities to take pictures. We got to hear about the history of the landmarks we were passing while enjoying the unique perspective of the view from the water. Would definitely do it again.

I booked this cruise last minute for myself and my boyfriend. It was absolutely wonderful! The captain is personable and a great tour guide (although the tour information was kept to a minimum, which is great, being from NYC). The food was outstanding and there is so much of it you can't eat it all! There were about 4-5 courses throughout the sailing and it was delicious! Each person gets a complimentary bar beverage as well. Beautiful boat and experience. We will definitely do this again! Thank you SailNYC!!

Not as anticipated

It's family and group oriented. However, there should be more lively activities...more music and fun activities. It would be nice if a member of the crew can point out some historic or important sites in NYC. There should be a wider selection of food.

Great alternative to standard rehearsal dinner

Rather than have a sit-down rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding, we decided to take the wedding party and out-of-town family (25 total guests) on the Manhattan brunch cruise (Saturday, June 14). It was the first time most members of the two familes met each other, and it was a great way to visit and see the sights while having brunch. The out-of-towners were thrilled, but the native New Yorkers were equally delighted. What was particularly nice about the brunch was that the food arrived in stages: continental breakfast foods with a waffle station and fresh fruit and cheese first, followed by eggs & sausage, and finally sliced ham and tossed salad. I'm sure there was more, but I was too busy mingling with the guests. The food was well prepared and nicely presented. The brunch cruise was simply a hit with everyone. The only negatives were that the air conditioning couldn't adequately cool the glass enclosed cabin on the sunny day. Perhaps retractable shades could be installed on the overhead glass for these occasions. Also, as the organizer, I would have arranged to cover additional drinks for my guests if I knew that the beer, wine, etc. was limited to the first drink. That wasn't particularly clear in the description on the website. It was fairly easy to get to Chelsea Pier by taxi, but don't rely on the taxi stands in front of the pier to catch a return cab. Very few cabs came through there, and the ones that did were occupied. After about 20 minutes, we walked a couple of blocks to 10th Avenue where taxis were abundant. I know at least 25 people who would give this event a thumbs up!
