Something Different

Having done many of the NYC tourist stuff over the years we loved this cruise for it's bustling start and mellow finish. The captain made himself available for questions about the landmarks, etc, and the boat itself was quite nice. A very good way to spend 3 hours on a Sunday in NYC.

Good value

The boat tour provides great views of skyline, bridges and Statue of Liberty. The drawback was that every seat was taken. We would have preferred a bit more personal space on the bench seats. Food service was good. Maybe a vegetarian option could be added. Not much narration on the Hudson River side of tour.

Nice Day On The Water.

There was hardly any commentary as we passed many worthwhile, mentionable landmarks, etc. along the way. We did, however, enjoy the "small boat" atmosphere and spent a large part of the trip outside making conversation with those who knew Manhattan and were able to point out many points of interest to us. We found the food to be average. However, There was plenty of food and I am quite sure no one went away hungry. The boat was clean and well maintained. It was a perfect day to be on the water.

Excellent food, pleasingly displayed. A menu would have stopped me from filling up on the first choices so that I had no room for the other lovely offerings. Not enough tourist info given by the captain. Very relaxing thing to do on a beautiful day.

A small boat (20 -25 passenger) provides a quiet, friendly atmosphere for the tour. The brunch is NOT your standard sweet rolls and drinks. It starts with a continental menu, including a Belgium waffle, if you want to make one yourself. It continues with hot dishes including quische with sides of bacon and sausage, followed by a salad, followed by spiral cut ham and HUGE brownies at the end. The first drink of your choice (mimosa, bloody mary, beer or whatever else you can think of) is complimentary and they didn't seem to stop pouring as long as you wished to buy. Soft drinks were complimentary throughout. The crew was wonderful........friendly and professional. The boat is enclosed with with wall to wall glass windows and half the roof in windows. You can see very well but you won't get wet if it rains or sunburned if the sun is out. Excellent narrative throughout and the captain invited us to steer for a minute at the end of the tour. We really enjoyed ourselves.

The perfect birthday gift for that special someone

I bought 2 tickets for the Around Manhattan Brunch Cruise as a gift to my husband for his 67th birthday. It's a 3 hour trip to Manhattan from our home in Pennsylvania. We got there early so we could explore Chelsea Pier and we were so glad we did. There is so much to see and do there! We got to our pier early and were so pleased that everyone associated with the Cruise, from the lady who took our eTicket to the Captain of that beautiful yacht, was exceptionally pleasant; very friendly and accomodating. The Captain casually pointed out points of interest as we cruised around Manhattan with about 30 other people of all ages. It was a glorious day so we were able to be outside on deck, with the wind whipping through our hair as we sipped our cocktails and enjoyed the delicious food that was so artfully presented. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his cruise (and had something to rave about on the golf course for a whole week after he came home!). We couldn't have been more pleased and would recommend this cruise to any one of any age.
