Around Manhattan Brunch Cruise

I want it to celebrate my grandson's AJ birthday , and the cruise was a great idea and a fantastic expirience for him and the whole family. The service was excellent the food was great. I booked reservations for 6 adults and 2 children,unfortunate one member of the family din't make it, Hope I will get a credit for my next trip.

I bought tickets for my husband and I to take the cruise around Manhattan for our anniversary. What a great decision!! The trip was wonderful. We have lived in the area all of our lives and this was the first time we got to see the city from a totally different perspective. Sailing past Lady Liberty and under the Bridges was just great! The captain was knowledgeable and gave a wonderful narrative along the journey. I would recommend this activity to everyone, especially locals. It made me once again realize how lucky we are to live in this area. -Judi Nelson

The food was bountiful and delicious. The boat was comfortable and spacious. The crew was professional and courteous. I can't wait to take another cruise on this boat.

the cruise was amazing. i took my parents, along with my boyfriend for his 30th birthday. it was interesting to see how the scenery changed around NYC, and I loved hoe the captain pointed out different things for us to look at. 3 hours of good food and drink were served. no complaints. this is a great activity for anyoen visiting NYC and also for locals alike.

My family enjoyed this trip very much. The crew was courteous and helpful. The boat was very clean, and the seats were comfortable. The food was very good, and there was plenty for all on board. I really liked the visibility from pretty much any seat. The only criticism is that we couldn't hear the information about the sights.

The boat provided was neither one of the advertised schooners, it was crowded and drinks were not complimentary. Not worth the money and I would spend the extra $50 for a private tour from another company.

The ride was smooth , the captain was experienced. The guide was knowledgeable and informative. The service was excellent. The atmoshere was lovely . Our children gave us a gift certificate for the brunch cruise at Christmas and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the cruise. Interesting information ,not only about Manhattan, but about landmarks and history of the Bronx, Queens,Brooklyn,and Staten Island. We sailed on Saturday, May 17th, 2008. A group of close family decided that a local cruise around Manhattan would be a perfect way to celebrate our Mom's 80th and suggested the brunch cruise to our Dad. We actually underestimated how perfect it would be! Every detail of our trip -- from the stunning boat to the top-notch service and lovely crew -- especially wonderful David -- to the yummy and copious (and well-paced!) food -- exceeded our expectations. We could not have wished for a more elegant and intimate experience for our family. We had the entire back section of the boat to ourselves, complete with a big comfortable table upon which to set all of our food and drinks, as our "home base: from which we could venture outside into the open air. The captain (who looked all of 20 years old) was also a friendly and lovely youg man who allowed us to lie about, trying not to block his view! Because of the cozy atmosphere, we also interacted with tmany of the other passengers, often celebrating their own special occasions. We have already recommended this cruise to many friends as an ideal way to mark any occasion or show foreign friends the City in the most upscale and most memorable possible way. You receive more than your money's worth and will want to come back again for another special day.

thoroughly enjoyable. We were only in NYC for a weekend so originally I baulked at spending 3 hours on the boat. It was SO worth it. Great views, superb catering and friendly helpful crew. On our trip there was a 94 year old having a birthday party and a 3 month old baby - all were catered for and all seemed to have a good time. Highly recommended - make the time to do this trip - you see so much.
