If you are in to comfortable cruising or the Gilded Era of Yachting, be sure to experience our 1920’s style “commuter” yacht, Manhattan.
She was built here in the state of New York by Scarano Boat Building in 2005 and is currently the only non-sailing yacht in our Classic Harbor Line fleet. We take great pride in her New York heritage and we additionally take great pride in serving the very best of New York beers, wines, cheeses, produce & famous local bakery aboard her decks.
Edible Manhattan wrote that we are “Not Your Mother’s Circle Line”. We strive to surpass any “tourist” expectations of what a “harbor cruise” entails: we include a “Taste of NY” in our menus, maintain an unprecedented level of hospitality and we do so aboard a special, beautiful, intimate yacht built by NY craftsmen.
Classically-lined & comfortable with teak decks and mahogany rails, she can accommodate up to 50 for dinner & 75 for passed hors d’ oeuvres. She features an enclosed, cushioned observatory surrounded by large windows & skylights. She is equipped for all weather with a/c & heating and thus operates comfortably from early spring through New Year’s Day.

Activity Description
Step aboard the teak decks of the Yacht Manhattan for a full day, round-trip cruise up the Hudson River to Bear Mountain! On this 9 hour event, enjoy a 3 hour cruise and open breakfast buffet on your way north through the Palisades and the lower Hudson River Valley.
Upon docking at Bear Mountain, guests are free to enjoy 3 hours of time exploring, hiking, or just relaxing in this fantastic New York State Park. Take some time checking out the Trailside Museums, the Zoo or take a stroll or row a boat around Hessian Lake and breathe in the fresh air! Ambitious hikers may make take to the steep trails of Bear Mountain - excellent views of the Hudson River Valley appear just half way up!
The Manhattan departs at 3:00pm sharp for a 3 hour leisurely afternoon cruise back to New York City. Guests are treated to a complimentary beverage from the bar and barbecue picnic buffet!
Along the way, take in picturesque views from our glassed-in observatory. Highlights include:
- The Palisades Park land, one of New York's most dramatic geological features
- The majestic George Washington Bridge, and Tappan Zee Bridge
- Quaint riverside towns and changing landscapes
- The Hudson River Valley and Haverstraw Bay
- Sing Sing Maximum Security Prison
Our classic open breakfast buffet includes fresh local bagels and pastries, seasonal fruit, waffle station, fresh quiche & sausage, coffee, juice & tea. The barbecue picnic includes hamburgers and hot dogs off the grill and traditional sides.
What Is Not Included?
- Any additional mixed drinks can be purchased from our on open bar.
- Gratuity is not included in the price of your cruise. Parties of 12 or more will be contacted shortly after purchasing tickets to provide credit card information for an additional charge of 18% gratuity.
