Definately one of the highlights of our trip! Rivalling a private walking tour and helicopter tour. The cruise was perfect for viewing the city lit up at night and a great up close view of the statue of liberty. Perfect! The complimentary champagne when we set off was a great start, the music, cookies and cocoa made us all feel very festive. On our 2nd drink we opted for a shot of peppermint schnapps in our cocoa ($6) which was great to warm up after braving the cold on the deck to view the city lit up at night-breathtaking!! Highly recommend! Do not visit NYC at Christmas without doing this. |

the Manhattan is a lovely boat....beautifully appointed ....it is the opposite of the big modern monstrosities that ply the waters around New York...crew very professional...if one has never seen NYC from the water you absolutely must..and this is a great way to do it.....we sang carols and drank hot cocoa and ate cookies and went out on deck to stare up at the statue of liberty at night..very cool.....suitable for kids only if they are old enough and well behaved enough to know how to act on a boat!! pier 62 is not easy to find so allow yourself time....i nearly missed the proverbial boat! |

I thoroughly enjoyed the cruise. The views were great and the crowd fun; however I don't recommend their cocoa. It was bland and did not even taste like cocoa. If I were you, I'd bring your own brand and ask for a cup of hot water.... |

The holiday Cocoa & Jazz cruise went beyond my expectations. The boat was beautifully and festively decorated, the band played well with songs I knew and enjoyed, and the cocoa was delicious. This cruise started my 2-day 35th birthday celebration and I couldn't have chosen a better way! A couple even got engaged on the trip. The boat and scenery were perfect backdrops to their special moment and it added to everyone's enjoyment of the nights experience. |

I took my mother on this cruise as a Christmas present and we had a nice time looking at the lights and admiring the boat (which is lovely). The crew was very pleasant and accommodating, and the length of the ride was perfect - not to long not too short. The cocoa was a little disappointing (likely swiss miss made with water) and seeing as that was part of the attraction I thought it would be slightly higher quality. The caroling was rather silly... two singers not attempting much in the way of harmony, but it was still enjoyable. If they made the cocoa with milk and sang a few more traditional carols (with a harmony) and it would be an absolutely perfect holiday event. |

The scene provided by the host and musicians was great for the holidays. It created an awesome experience to socialize with others if you felt to do so. Because, small parties of twos and threes shared the table with other small parties of twos and threes. Everyone was friendly and the live band was great and continued to play the entire trip even getting everyone involved for a Christmas carol before the end of the ride. They took you on a cruise on the harbor as you passed by the statue of liberty and enjoyed the city skyline as it lit up at night. |

My husband and I treated ourselves to an evening cruise on the Manhattan. As always on the Classic Harbor cruises, we thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Viewing Manhattan's city lights is just beautiful and what could be better than listening to a jazz ensemble while doing so! The staff was friendly and informative as were the guests. This was our first time on the Manhattan, but we have been on the Adirondack a number of times and look forward to a trip on the America next summer. |

Went on Friday - Thursday was underbooked. Therefore we got the Jazz Trio. Highly recommended as less awkward and more mood setting. The cocoa could have had schnapps added if we were schnapps kind of people - we're not. Entirely unnecessary. Winter sun at 2:30 to 4 pm was perfect lighting for Statute of Liberty, Wall Street, bridges, etc. Captain steered into waves so little rocking. Maggie (?) passed out blankets to those who didn't dress for the 20 mph 30degree wind. Most of the couples stayed inside in the cozy cabin with drinks - we could do that sitting at home. The cozy part. Stood outside - exhilarating views. Be sure to Tip. |
