| Our Captain, Tom, told us the wind was strong and that we would have a "spirited" ride, and that's exactly what it was. While our crew, Chad and Stu, made us comfortable and provided us with beverages, we sailed down the Hudson, out past the Statue of Liberty, and around the tip of Manhattan to the Brooklyn Bridge. Tom was obviously a skilled sailor, who you could tell loved his job. The entire crew were friendly and helpful and pointed out all the landmarks on our trip. They also helped a couple of landbound Canadians learn a few things about sailing. We had a full itinerary on our New York vacation, but this was definitely the highlight! We will definitely return to New York, and a cruise on the Adirondack will be the first thing I'l book. Cheers! |

| Went on the City Lights sail our last night in New York - It was quite a windy evening and there were only four of us due to go out - the cap'n did try to suggest it might be a bit very windy and quite choppy (think they might have hoped to finish early....?!) but as we were all keen we went anyway and had the schooner and the crew to ourselves. The boat was beautiful, the view was amazing, the crew were very hospitable and we had a brilliant time. A fantastic way to finish up the trip and an exciting and memorable sail. Thank you crew! |

A great way to top off a day of walking through NY

| We had a terrific day. It started with a walking tour from Brooklyn Heights, Across the Brooklyn Bridge, through the World Trade Center Site and up to Chelsea Pier. We arrived at the docks and were excited to see the Adirondack returning from the Sunset Cruise with an enthusiastic Crew and guests. We were delighted by the kind handling of the crew and the way that they served us. The best part was that we were able to feel as though we were the only guests aboard the ship. The silence of the night moving across the water and up to the Statue of Liberty was an amazing feeling of pride in being an American. With all that we have been through as a country, this day in the city was completed with a simple 2 hour cruise that made us proud to be here. Cheers to the Adirondack! Cheers to America! |

| We sailed down to the statue of liberty and then had to motor back up. Definitely the sail down was more interesting bc of the silence and sounds of the water. Great crew! We had a lovely evening for my husband's birthday. Thank yoU! |

| i invited a group of friends to join me on a schooner adventure. the crew was friendly and unobtrusive, the views were magical, and the love was tangible. we brought snacks we shared with the whole boat. a perfect new york evening for locals and visitors.

| We sailed on a very calm evening, with little to no wind at all. The captain had to use the motor(s) most of the time due to wind and current conditions (out of their control). Even with the faint sound of the motor, this was a spectacular trip. The ship is absolutely beautiful, especially with the sails up. The capitan and staff are fantastic. They are not only friendly, but also professional and attentive to your every need (drinks, blankets, etc.). The views of the city and Statue of Liberty are amazing. We will do this again on our next trip to NYC. |

| Great date, nice and quiet when sailing past the statue of liberty. Beautiful view of the city and you get three glasses of wine, which if you went to a bar for would cost thirty bucks, so it's really like a 20 dollar activity. Highly advised. |
