City Lights Sail on Adirondack

A group of us surprised a friend for his birthday. We are NY'ers and wanted to do something different. The city light cruise was perfect, relaxing and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! Bring some snacks to share with wine and champagne.

This is a really special way to see yet another aspect of this great city. Although one can't help feeling romantically inclined sailing quietly along by moonlight, this would be a great experience for friends, family, dates, locals, or visitors. The staff is very friendly, accommodating, and ensures your safety. A glass of wine with refill was a nice touch. In my top 10 experiences of NYC, even as a local!

It was a beautiful night and a full moon. What a wonderful way to see the city. The moonlight made the water glisten. Crew of the Schooner did an awesome job of making us comfortable and provided us with plenty of beverages. I enjoyed it so much that I will take this trip again.

It was all it was advertised to be and more, a very friendly crew, a beautiful boat and a calm experience of city lights on both sides of the river. Better than hundreds of ours of psychiatric therapy. I highly recommend it to anyone.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed sailing on the Adirondack while in NYC for a workshop. The beautiful views of the Manhattan skyline, friendly crew, and complimentary beverages were a welcome respite from the hurried Manhattan pace and crowded city. As we marveled at the sites, we were pleasantly relieved to discover that there was no annoying "tour" being given by the crew, yet they were happy to help the tourists (we we the only non-locals aboard) understand what we were seeing. The crew and other guests aboard the Adirondack made this an unforgettable night!

Great staff, beautiful boat and awesome sights

Beautiful and peaceful tour of Manhattan's Hudson River... guide answered questions and was highly articulate and knowledgeable.... old 80 foot sailboat, not too crowded... sophisticated, yet casual and relaxing. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed the sail very much, especially since the weather was so perfect. I wish we had more time to sail around to the Brooklyn side and see the bridges up close, but all in all a great time. Very pleasant and attentive staff as well. Thanks!

My husband and I took a trip to NYC with our close friends to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We planned this sailboat ride as our very last activity to our great vacation. We are so glad we did. This ride was more than we ever imagined! Let me start with the crew, they were so friendly, funny, and all had great personalities. The ride itself was smooth, relaxing, and a great way to cuddle up with your loved one. I would recommend this to everyone. The city lights sail is a great choice for those that want to see the city in a different way and just relax. I am so so so glad we did this. It was the perfect ending to our stay in NYC!
