Very much enjoyed! Really liked how quiet it was. Would have liked for captain could have been a little bit of a tour guide too though. Maybe just point out a few things.

One of my top 5 things I've EVER done!!

I was looking online at the different options for going out to see the city lights on the water in NYC. I wanted something beautiful and memorable, and oh boy, did this ever give both!! From the minute we arrived and were welcomed warmly by the guy at the gate, who gave us these beautiful laminated tickets, to the captain welcoming us himself and escorting us aboard, to the fun and really great crew who treated us like royalty. It was first class all the way. As we glided through the water, being able to hear the sounds of the water, we passed allnof the booze cruises and the disco on the water boats and repeatedly said over and over "thank God we chose THIS one!!" I can't say enough good things. The crew was generous with the complimentary wine but didn't overlong to the point where people were getting drunk and sloppy. They all had a knowledge of wines and the vintages they were serving. Very impressive. I know waiters at 4 star restaurants that don't know as much about wine! The entire thing has a very elegant Ralph Lauren at the yacht club feel to it. No pretentiousness, but an air of sophistication that comes with sailing on a beautiful schooner. Take it from me, I AGONIZED over the decision of which cruise to take. Hands down this is THE best one!!

I took my little cousin who is visiting New York on the evening sail with me. We both had a fantastic time, and loved the staff. They took great care of us! This was my second time sailing with your company and I will continue to recommend this to all my friends and family that visit.

Brilliant value for money

In a city where there is so much to do and a lot of these things quite expensive I really felt this was value for money. We happended to stumble across it on the internet along with other companys who did boat outings but this seemed like something slightly different to what the others provided considering it was for a total of two hours, at night and that drinks were provided. It was definitly aimed at couples but anyone could really go, although it was nearly all couples on dates on the trip we went on. We paid $102 for both of us including tax and service charge for 2hour trip with complimentary champagne/beer etc. Although its clear its not a free for all with the alcohol they definitly didnt mind us having 3glasses each, same with most people on board. The staff were cheerful and helpful which made the experience even nicer. I would not fail in not only recommending someone to take this trip but practically force them to go. Between value for money/ambience and a different way to experience this city the tour couldnt have failed in any way. Definitely a winner! :-)

The boat was impressive and the crew accomodating- i just wish we could have cut the motors for 45 minutes to enjoy the sail without the engines distraction.

The City Lights cruise on the Adirondack III was relaxing and fun. I'd recommend it to anybody who wants to see the Mahattan skyline at night.

We had a great time aboard the Adirondack 3 on our weekend trip in NYC. Capt. Andrew and crew were great very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. Everyone affiliated with the boat company was very friendly and the weather was perfect. We would definitely do this again.

My boyfriend and I took the twilight sailboat tour while I was in New York visiting him last weekend. I can't say enough good things about the trip. The sailboat was gorgeous and seemed like a more intimate option than the other larger boat cruises. The staff were extremely friendly and were readily available to provide drinks to the passengers. I was very (pleasantly) surprised at the number of drink options including the local microbrews. All in all, this is an experience I would recommend to anyone- tourists or NY locals, and I can say that we will definitely be back to sail again.

Best part of our trip!

This was by far our favorite part of our trip! We had seen all the sights and done all the touristy things in past trips and just wanted to do something different. This definitely qualified, and surpassed our expectations. The sailboat down the Hudson at night provided a beautiful view of the city lights and Lady Liberty in all her glory. We even got a free fireworks show off in the distance. The captain and mates were very hospitable. And the complimentary drinks were the icing on the cake! I have already recommended this to many of my friends. One negative (which had nothing to do with the cruise) was transportation. If you plan on taking a cab back or riding the subway, please be aware getting cab from the Chelsea Piers area might be a bit difficult and the nearest subway closed at midnight. Thanks so much to the Adirondack III crew for a great experience!
