| This trip was great, the crew was very friendly and helpful throughout the sail. The views on the trip were amazing, the city at night and the statue of liberty were great. The captain slowed the boat down to allow us to take pictures of the great sites. I highly recommend this trip if you are visiting NYC |

| Smooth waters and clear skies translated into calm winds, but that didn't detract from the relaxing effects of the sail. Tranquility offsets the fast pace of the city. Highly recommended just to unwind. The sunset cruise is especially awesome, since one gets to witness the transition of the city's spectacular skyline into nightlife. |

| My husband and I did the city lights cruise on the sail boat our first night in NYC (July 2007). It was a great, relaxing way to spend our first evening. I'd highly recommend sitting on the right side of the boat because you get a fantastic view of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island and then on the way back to the pier you get a great view of the city lights! Arrive about 20 or 30 minutes early so you can get your choice of spots to sit on the boat. If you're a little affraid of how sail boats "lean" then your best bet is to sit in the seats at the back of the boat. Even though it was July is was a little chilly on the water so I'm really glad I brought a sweater!
The boat is beautiful and the crew is fantastic! They came around many times to take drink orders but I found that I didn't want to concentrate on not spilling my drink so I just had one and then enjoyed the sights! The boat holds a limited number of guests so you feel like you're on a very special cruise! They even offered blankets if you were chilly! How nice! : )
This cruise was a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend to all!! |

| We did allot in New York, but all of the other events pale in comparisson to this wonderful cruise down the Hudson River, out to the Statue of Liberty and back. While we were waiting for our City Lights cruise to board I listened to the comments from the people getting off of the Sunset Cruise on the Adirondack; awesome, wonderful, best thing we've done... nearly everyone getting off was talking about what a great time they had. Our group was not disappointed, from the time the sails filled with wind and the engine was turned off it was pure magic for the next hour-and-a-half. Great skipper, great crew, great time. Dress warmer than you think you need to though! |

| The boat was too crowded with about 40 people. It would have been nice to have more room to stand without blocking the view for other people. |

| We just got back from a very busy Manhattan week and we both agreed that this was the most relaxing and pleasurable thing that we did all week. The city at night is really worth seeing from the water. We would have both done better with warmer outfits, the wind can reach up to 30 knots on the water, but the crew hands out blankets liberally (and the drinks didn’t hurt either).
There is only one thing that I would do differently, and it has nothing to do with the Adirondack or the crew. I would have made sure that I was proficient with my camera for night pictures of the city. I didn’t set everything up for city pictures from a moving boat at night. I only add this because I didn’t see it on any other reviews, and didn’t get any good pictures.
I couldn’t recommend this trip enough, it is well worth the price.
