City Lights Sail on Adirondack

It was a great night on the water. The only suggestions I will make is for there to be some sort of cushions to sit on (2 hours on a hard surface is a bit rough) and I would of liked for someone to be a guide and tell us what some of the historical sites were. I personally, had no idea what I was looking at, except for the Statue of Liberty! It was a very nice and romantic trip though.

This is a great and unique date. If you have a visitor coming into town it also makes for an interesting view of the city.

We took the City Lights sail and it was better than i expected. I enjoyed watching the crew sail and man the boat ( i know nothing about sailing). It was a pretty empty trip, so we were very well taken care of, and a perfect way to end an evening. Highly reccommend it, for locals and visitors! PS-Though we saw the Governer's island Waterfall from afar, it was shut off at 10pm. If you want to see it, I'd take the 830, (not the 930) to see it lit up...

Viewing lower NYC and expereincing NY Harbor on a tradition sail boat is unbeatable. As the loud party boats will scream on by, you will feel only the serene and natural power of wind, water and wood surronded by the majesty of NYC skyline. Recommend the sunset cruise as a good option.

My husband and I had a wonderfull time, we already recommended the boat trip to all of our friends and family!

Out-of-town friends and I thoroughly enjoyed this event. Unfortunately, my husband was away on business. I will definitely invite my husband on a "date" and do this activity again, this time with him. The night we went, we had absolutely perfect weather. The captain and crew were extremely pleasant and attentive. I HIGHLY recommend this activity to all: couples, families, groups of adults, etc. It is really great! The only shortcoming: the cruise ends in two hours.

First, they are very accommodating. We had booked the 8:30pm sail and it was raining, so they moved us to the following weekend. The crew is fantastic as is the boat and view of the city and the Statue of Liberty. I was freezing and the captain got a blanket for me. And the wine was actually not that bad.. The ONLY downside is the crowd that "may" end up on the boat with you. There was a group young kids in their early 20's (not that there is anything wrong with that) but they were so loud .. on their cell phones talking loud etc. The captain even said he was going to have to enforce the "no cell phone rule". Not a huge issue but just distracting with such an amazing sailboat cruise. All in all, you should take this cruise! I also like later in the day as it wasn't as hot...

The City Lights trip was a unique way to enjoy the mood, emotions, and glow of the City, while the sail boat was moving to the beat of the Hudson. The feeling of peace and beauty over came all, while day to day concerns drifted away with the sea.

The boat was small enough to feel intimate but large enough that you didn't notice the other passengers, the crew was friendly, the champagne was flowing, and the views were beautiful. What more could you ask for? I never really thought about doing this before since I live in Manhattan, but I'm really glad I went!

I did the sail with my girlfriend and we will definitely do it again one time!:-))
