wet ! but glorious way to see the sights!

| we went with great anticipation taking my sister-in law , myself and husband for a sail on the hudson. it had been raining for days but it was not this eve. cloudy but we were hopeful . loaded on to the ship very sturdy and safe .... crew was so sweet. asked and gave out blankets beverages and we were off.. fireworks on the horizon we headed off for the statue. It was a great start but then the skies opened up and after the crew gave us rain gear, captian mary decided to head north for better weather. unfortunatly that could not happen and we ended up docking early BUT !!! the entire group of cruisers were so hardy and such happy sailors no one complained , no grousing it was all so pleasant( very wet) but so nice. we'll be back! it is a great idea! and outing ! thanks |

| I would strongly recommend the city lights tour, it was a great time of night to be out on the water, the city looked amazing. It gets a little chilly though, so bring something warmer to put on when you're out on the water. |

| This could be fun but I would never know, because they canceled the sailing trip practically at the last minute. Eventually I recieved a call from the sailing company explaining that because they were concern about a storm and because they did not sell enough tickets they canceled the sail for the night. There was not a cloud in the sky the entire evening which made it all the more embarassing when I explained to my date why we were not going on a sail like I promised.
Like I said, this could be a great event, but I'd never know....... |

| It was great to see the city from the river on a beautiful calm night, the best part when when the captain shut off the engine and we got to sail. Although the crew was very nice, they were not very enthusiastic or knowledgeable. I would recommend it to any though because it was a great experience, especially if you enjoy sailing! |

| My girlfriends and I took this two-hour ride at 8:30pm. We enjoyed the fresh air, great views and break from the city. The crew was very welcoming and attentive! We had a blast and would recommend it to others! |

| We had such a blast!
The crew was so friendly and so incredibly nice--we're planning our goodbye to New York on the Adirondack!
it's a perfect way to see the city for tourists, but also an amaizng way to pay tribute to a city that we love and know like the backs of our hands.

| I have taken this boat ride many times (at different times of the day) and every time is wonderful. The captain is very friendly, the staff are very hospitable and the boat is simply beautiful. There is nothing quite like it when the engine is turned off and the sails are raised and you are swiftly sailing by the busy city. I highly recomend it as a before dinner activity or something unique and memorable to do with friends from out of town. There is something very special about sailing at night (even though day-time cruises are nice as well). A real New York City find... |
