City Lights Sail on Adirondack

My boyfriend and I had a lovely evening sailing through the harbor. I purchased the tickets as a partial surprise birthday present as we were coming to the conclusion of our stay in NY... I couldn't have been happier with the outcome. There were other couples onboard yet we had plenty of room, everyone was respectful, they served wine and we watched several different displays of fireworks while smoothly sailing through the harbor. I was so impressed with the ride. I would definitely recommend this to others who are hoping to see the city in a new light. Worth every penny... :)

Relaxing, great crew, beautiful sailboat, right amount of time out on water, not a corny tourist trap/trip (I live in NYC). I would go again!

For locals or tourists, this was great! Definitely recommend the night version. Wish there had been more blankets available!

We took the 9pm boat on Saturday night, it was easy to find at Chelsea Piers. We just showed our reservation print out and was handed a pass, jumped on the boat and off we went. They passed a couple of rounds of wine, the ride was fantastic! There was no tourist lingo, no landmarks called out. It was perfect for a local NYer to enjoy, as well as a tourist who wanted to sit back and soak in the sights. I want to go again next month for my birthday!!! Thanks to the crew for a wonderful evening on the water!

Very relaxing, great crew. Not a guided/informational tour but very beautiful and scenic views of the city, Statue of Liberty and Ellis island. Boat was a little crowded, but everyone was very nice and helpful. I would definitely take another sail in the future.

My 17 y/o son and I took the sail boat ride around Manhattan and loved it. The crew was efficient and friendly. I have already recommended it to others.

We took the 9 pm sail and it was great. All adults, friendly crew, cocktails and good company.

The City Lights Sail crew was fantastic. Very professional, gracious and outgoing. they did a great job. The boat was wonderful and the view of The Statue of Liberty at night was breathtaking. I would, though, reconsider another trip as there was little to no wind for the sails and the boat's motor was on for almost the entire trip and a bit of a disappointment. We have taken many other day and sunset sails with the Adirondak Schooner and had wonderful, wonderful sails. Will remember to check the weather forecast in advance next time!
