City Lights Sail on Adirondack

I would highly recommend this tour over any of the other night tours. Very relaxing and quiet. Great views of the Statue of Liberty and of the city. You can still have a drink or two as well, but this is no booze cruise. Perfect evening for a couple. I would do it again for sure. Very reasonably priced as well.

it was a change from the hectic city, nice to be on the water without (well more or less without) power other than wind! nice to see the city from a different angle . keep on like that, the tour was recomended to me by a friend from Germany and I will recomend it too! thanks fro the nice expierience rgds from germany Julia

I took a friend out for her birthday on this cruise, and it was truly beautiful. AWESOME view of the statue of liberty and very friendly service.

I surprised my wife and took her to New York for our first anniversary. I spoke with a friend who is a native New Yorker and he highly recommended this sailing cruise as a great way to see the city in a "non-tradional" fashion. We had a wonderful August night for sailing. Captain Pete and his crew did a great job making us feel at home and were very accomodating to point out certain sights as we sailed. This outing was probably the highlight of our trip.

This was a truely enjoyable experience - both romantic and awe-inspiring. I would never want to see the Statue of Liberty any other way. We loved it and would recommend it as a calming and intimate way to see Lady Liberty. It was NOT a noisey party boat and was very relaxing! Thanks especially to the Captain and crew-woman Kate!

It was disappointing because the website told us that the boat would still go out in light rain, it was raining light so we paid 20 cab fare to get to the boat and the lady told me it had been cancelled. I'd try it again though.

Simplly the best way to see NYC in the evening. Enjoy the view, drinks and safe ride down and up the Hudson; if it matters for you, sit starboard to see Jersey first then NYC on the way back. Need a night-ready camera if you want any pics at all; otherwise, just live the moment!

A large group of my friends booked this cruise for a friend's 30th birthday. Throughout the night, prior to the scheduled departure of the cruise, we called the cruise company to confirm that the cruise was not cancelled due to the light drizzling during the day. Each time we spoke to someone, they confirmed that there were no problems and that yes, the cruise would be leaving on time. On our way there, only 15 minutes before the scheduled departure, we were told that the cruise was 45 minutes late!! Clearly, we were upset by the lack of professionalism in not notifying us sooner of the delay, particularly since we had confirmed the timing a number of times that night. Since, we had a number of people that we were scheduled to meet up with after the cruise, the 45 minture delay made it impossible for us to go on the cruise. So I left a message to have my tickets cancelled. I called the next day again since no one bothered to return my message and was very rudely told that the cruise was only 15 minutes late and not 45 minutes late. Clearly, this company cannot get their act together! Even though I could not attend this cruise because the cruise was late, which was competely out of my control, they refuse to refund my ticket! Being that the only reason I scheduled this cruise was for my friend's bday party and really have no desire to go on this cruise because of the complete disaster of my first experience, I think that the company should have done the right thing and refunded my ticket.

It was very relaxed trip after a busy programm during daytime. Besides it was very nice that the captain was from Belgium and we had a nice chat in our own language. Everybody who put his/her feet on Manhattan should also jump on the Schooner to experience the amazing views and silcence on the water.
