| This is an amazing experience for New Yorkers and tourists alike. The Adirondack crew were friendly, professional, and accomodating. We sailed in awful weather (thunderstorms) - it was incredibly romantic to see the Statue of Liberty shrouded in mist and rain while wrapped up in a hooded poncho provided by the crew. It's one of the most memorable city experiences I'll ever have! |

| A wonderful two hours on the Hudson. The city and Statute of Liberty are fantastic from the river..particularly at night. Not having a motor churning is a plus...easy for conversation with a simple beverage. |

| We had a nice time, but the event was marred by a drunken passenger. The crew did their best to manage him and his vulgar mouth. However, they did serve him wine to drink. Perhaps that was ill advised, but then again he may have become more enraged and totally unmanageable if the drink were withheld. I do not know what could have been done, short of throwing him overboard, as there appeared to be no "brig" on board. There should be a procedure for making sure that this does not happen in the future. It ruined a lovely evening. |

| This serene sail enabled us to see lower Manhattan from a totally different perspective. The crew was pleasant and accommodating. Lady Liberty was majestic at night. This is one activity that spans the generations. Our kids loved it and gave it to us for an anniversary present. |

| Last week my family and I visited NYC for 4 days. In planning for the mini vacation, I was looking for an evening activity for us to do as a family - one that would be interesting for four ( 4 ) teenagers. I booked the cruise on the Hudson and we just loved it!! We were fortunate to have a gorgeous evening with a light wind and NO RAIN. The staff aboard were very friendly and the boat was immaculate. It was the highlight of our trip. We recommend this excursion to all ! |

| Our captain was a real enthusiastic and knowledgeable man. He was informative and so open to allowing passengers to "take the wheel" and he was really good with kids. He should have 5 of his own.
I am recommending it to everyone I know who might go to NYC. |

| The view was good, but the whole experience was disappointing. The motor ran almost the entire trip - the sails seemed to be simply props on the ship. The captain and crew should have pointed out landmarks to us, and made some sort of commentary. When we got on the ships, the captain gave us a brief orientation of what drinks were available, but then didn't say a word during the entire trip. At one point I asked where Ellis Island was, and they said, "oh, we passed it already." Obviously, we recognized the Statue of Liberty, but it would have been nice if they would have commented on the various islands, the bridges, the many interesting buildings we passed, where the World Trade Center had once been, the Statue of Liberty (all lit up for the 4th of July), the history of the Statue of Liberty (that was the first weekend it was open to visitors -- it had been closed since 9/11), etc. It was not a tour, just kind of a lame ride. Oh, the captain did ask us to tip the staff before we disembarked. |

| Our family of four thouroughly enjoyed the City Lights Sail. We have done day and sunset sails before, but this was truly unique. The beginning offered sunset viewing and a lovely dusk sky, and then we sailed past Manhatten as the lighting was prominent in the city. We liked how the captain sailed out and then in closer to the city. The sail out to the Statue was just breathtaking, and to see her with the light shone on her, just beautiful! It was a quiet, relaxing sail, with champagne and specialty beers, and sodas for the children. My only recommendations would be some soft music, and or some history regarding the city and statue by the crew. Overall a fabulous way to end your stay in the most spectacular city in the world! |
