Don't let bad weather deter you...

This is an amazing experience for New Yorkers and tourists alike. The Adirondack crew were friendly, professional, and accomodating. We sailed in awful weather (thunderstorms) - it was incredibly romantic to see the Statue of Liberty shrouded in mist and rain while wrapped up in a hooded poncho provided by the crew. It's one of the most memorable city experiences I'll ever have!

A group of friends and I enjoyed the city lights sail last weekend. The weather was perfect, the sights were amazing and we enjoyed great hospitality on the sail. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone wishing to be reminded of what they love about New York!

New York City Sailing - Best Tour in New York

This is the 6th or 7th time I've done a Classic Harbor Line activity. The City Lights Sail is by far the best thing to do in NYC for a romantic date (or just as a unique experience for out of town guests). Captain Peter is awesome, the crew is awesome, and the boat is even better. Will be back again soon...

Another city-dwellers must-do

Simplly the best way to see NYC in the evening. Enjoy the view, drinks and safe ride down and up the Hudson; if it matters for you, sit starboard to see Jersey first then NYC on the way back. Need a night-ready camera if you want any pics at all; otherwise, just live the moment!

The Perfect Date!

My boyfriend and I live here in New York and were looking for something different to do on a nice Summer evening. We got tickets at the last minute on the Adirondack for the 8:30 sail. The sail around lower Manhattan is so breath taking at night. After living in New York for over 15 years, the view still gives me goose bumps. The captain and staff were fantastic! They were very knowledge about the area and extremely friendly. We were served drinks and snacks throughout the evening which was great. A lot of times you read how drinks are served but you only get one or two drinks. This was a constant flow throughout the evening. Our overall rating for the experience is 5 stars!

We had a fantastic time, the weather was sensational which helped but the crew were friendly and helpful, it was not fuss and the booking online made it really easy to book. We are Australian and live in NYC and will deinitely be brining our guests as they visit from Overseas. Thanks!

Great boat, great crew, great route, too crowded

The boat was too crowded with about 40 people. It would have been nice to have more room to stand without blocking the view for other people.

A great way to top off a day of walking through NY

We had a terrific day. It started with a walking tour from Brooklyn Heights, Across the Brooklyn Bridge, through the World Trade Center Site and up to Chelsea Pier. We arrived at the docks and were excited to see the Adirondack returning from the Sunset Cruise with an enthusiastic Crew and guests. We were delighted by the kind handling of the crew and the way that they served us. The best part was that we were able to feel as though we were the only guests aboard the ship. The silence of the night moving across the water and up to the Statue of Liberty was an amazing feeling of pride in being an American. With all that we have been through as a country, this day in the city was completed with a simple 2 hour cruise that made us proud to be here. Cheers to the Adirondack! Cheers to America!

A must do

We sailed on a very calm evening, with little to no wind at all. The captain had to use the motor(s) most of the time due to wind and current conditions (out of their control). Even with the faint sound of the motor, this was a spectacular trip. The ship is absolutely beautiful, especially with the sails up. The capitan and staff are fantastic. They are not only friendly, but also professional and attentive to your every need (drinks, blankets, etc.). The views of the city and Statue of Liberty are amazing. We will do this again on our next trip to NYC.
