Champagne City Lights Cruise on Yacht Manhattan

I surprised my girlfriend on the night before her Birthday with the Luxury Yacht Manhattan City Lights Cruise. It was one of those colder Autumn evenings in the city, what made it even more cozy on board of the yacht. The crew is very friendly, and enthusiastic. I appreciated the fact that they were not eager to entertain us each second of the trip. As a European living in New York, I like to enjoy things by myself, and don't like it when people tell me how and what I should enjoy. So, my girl and I had a great time out on the water. You get a free drink. Tickets are easy to book online. They depart and get you back on time, and the views are great. Enjoy seeing the bridges to Brooklyn, and Battery Park, and the old Navy Yards. You will not be disappointed! (unless the girl that you bring with you is boring...)

We really enjoyed having the boat almost (7 other people) to ourselves. The staff seemed friendly but not much interaction with them. The highlight of the night was driving out to the Statue of Liberty and getting as close as possible to the island and just stalling for a while around the island. While up and close to lady liberty there were very few boats out that night and it seemed like we were the only ones in the harbor, something you rarely feel in NYC! If there had been appetizers/munchies with drinks I think it would have then been well worth the money spent.

My significant other and I ended our great day in Manhattan with the City Lights cruise on Saturday 10/13. The weather was a bit chilly so we opted for the Luxury Yatch with the enclosed glass area rather than the sail boat. Althought the cruise was nice, the city skyline was something to see by night, we expected a bit more out of the occasion. We were given one drink only comp - option of beer, wine or champagne. We expected at least 2 drinks each and available snacks. I read that somewhere on the website that this would be offered. Overall, it was worth the trip but more of a one time experience. I would definitely recommned this cruise.

My wife and 8yr old son recently took the night boat and had a great time. The boat is very nice and comfortable. It's not too big but has a nice ride and big windows so you can see everything without braving the elements. If you like the elements, all you have to do is open a window or take a short walk to the bow. The staff was proficient and friendly and I was pleased that they did not gouge me for drinks on the boat.

To do something different out in the city, this is highly worth it.

What a wonderful experience!!!

Took my boyfriend on the boat for our 1 year as a suprise before dinner. It was okay, a bit chilly the night we went but the views were amazing. There were two kids that kept running around which was really annoying, since this cruise was supposed to be more aimed for couples. The cheese/fruit platter was a HUGE disappointment!!! such a waste of money. It was $17.00 for 3 slices of 3 different cheeses, a couple dried apricots and a handful of nuts. Def wasnt satifying for two people which it claims. I was also expecting the boat to have lights like in the picture which it did not. It would have been alot nicer if the boat was lit like in the picture since its a "lights cruise"

I definitely recommend this cruise as a fun activity in NYC, even if you're a local like we were. Our trip was part of a bachelorette party and it was a big hit with everyone. We had beautiful weather, not too cold, and the night views of the skyline were beautiful. The boat also slows down super close to the Statue of Liberty for a great photo op. Nice staff, and everything is as advertised.

I suprised my girlfriend with this and she loved it. The enclosed cabin makes it appealing for evening cruises, you can get the same great view and you can stay nice and warm.

Overall, it was a great experience, the staff was very friendly and interested that my friends and I were having a fabolous time. I will definately do this again.
