Brought my wife (her birthday) and 8 year old daughter to the Manhattan City Lights Cruise. Just finished a matinee and dinner down in theatre district. Sun had just set, lights came up on the skyline. Worried a little about choppy waters from Tropical Storm Noel. Boat breezed through waters, no problem at all. Very quaint boat. Just 10-12 people on board and it was perfect. Views of Brooklyn Bridge, Empire State Building, and Statue of Liberty at night are excellent. Crew is very professional and the experience out on the front of the boat is wonderful. "I'm the King of the World" moment at the very tip in the front. My daughter had an excellent time also. Not too often you get to see the Statue of Liberty within 100 yards all lit up at night from the water. Already told some friends about this trip. Spend the extra $20 to be on this ride versus the bigger boats. Well worth it.

We really enjoyed having the boat almost (7 other people) to ourselves. The staff seemed friendly but not much interaction with them. The highlight of the night was driving out to the Statue of Liberty and getting as close as possible to the island and just stalling for a while around the island. While up and close to lady liberty there were very few boats out that night and it seemed like we were the only ones in the harbor, something you rarely feel in NYC! If there had been appetizers/munchies with drinks I think it would have then been well worth the money spent.

Our group of 4 did the Sunday night city lights tour. The crew, yacht, and tour were all excellent. I highly recommend this tour and I'll definitely book it again when in NYC.

My husband and I were looking for a unique way to engage the kids on a tour of New York. Not being a good waiter-in-line with crowds and ferries, we wanted a cozier, more engaging experience and the City Lights Cruise aboard the Manhattan far exceeded our expectations! The boat is lovely and well-maintained. The captain and her crew were exceedingly accommodating and the historic information provided was interesting to us all, including my 5 and 7 year old children. It just felt like a real adventure vs. a rote experience and with the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island as the backdrop, we were all wowed. Plus, an hour and a half was a perfect amount of time for a family with young children. This is a great treat for anyone, whether you're a local or visiting. Highly recommend!!!!

My significant other and I ended our great day in Manhattan with the City Lights cruise on Saturday 10/13. The weather was a bit chilly so we opted for the Luxury Yatch with the enclosed glass area rather than the sail boat. Althought the cruise was nice, the city skyline was something to see by night, we expected a bit more out of the occasion. We were given one drink only comp - option of beer, wine or champagne. We expected at least 2 drinks each and available snacks. I read that somewhere on the website that this would be offered. Overall, it was worth the trip but more of a one time experience. I would definitely recommned this cruise.

My wife and 8yr old son recently took the night boat and had a great time. The boat is very nice and comfortable. It's not too big but has a nice ride and big windows so you can see everything without braving the elements. If you like the elements, all you have to do is open a window or take a short walk to the bow. The staff was proficient and friendly and I was pleased that they did not gouge me for drinks on the boat.

For a moderated price (less than one ticket to a Broadway show) you and your date can travel in quiet style and capture the best views of lower Manhattan in your memory and/or on film. Great crew, great time not to be missed.

We just went this last Saturday night for the City Lights tour on the Manhattan - there were only 3 couples to go on the boat and the crew still took us out, and earlier! It was so nice to be out on the water in such a beautiful boat. The crew was friendly and helpful. We had an amazing time and will have to take out of town guests on this trip when they come in to visit. Thanks!
