Fabulous! The Manhattan and it's captain and crew are 1st rate. Seeing NY from the water is amazing. We took in so much. The Manhattan and Brooklyn bridges are true engineering feats. Photo opps abound in passing the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and the NYC skyline. Worth every penny.

Great tour with excellent service and views

This was my second time to take the tour. The first time my experience was better, because our captain gave so much detailed information on our trip. This time, we got as close to nothing as a tour guide can give. I was extremely dispointed with that, given I had just paid for 20 of my co-workers to go on the cruise with me. They were from all over the world and a detailed verbal tour of what we were seeing would have been enjoyable for them. That being said, we enjoyed ourselves very much and I would recommend for anyone to take the trip. Apparently I just got lucky with a great tour guide the first time! Regards,

My girlfriend & I had a wonderful experience on this cruise. The boat was clean, comfortable (even homey with padded bench seats, pillows & blankets:) and nicely decorated in a fall theme. The crew was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. The route allowed us to see everything we had come for: Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty, lower Manhattan/Freedom Tower site (as best as one can see it from the water), etc.

My husband, daughter and myself took this boat tour because Ellis Island and Liberty Island were closed due to Superstorm Sandy. It proved to be a wonderful decision, since we still got great pictures of the Statue of Liberty (helped immensely by the crew members) and learned a great deal about other buildings, bridges, etc. I heartily recommend this tour, since it takes you on the Hudson AND the East Rivers.

A wonderful afternoon's adventure on the water. Informative with regard to both well known and little known details of the NYC cityscape and waterways. Staff was pleasant and efficient. The Manhattan provided a comfortable ride and relaxing setting.

My husband and I loved the Classic Harbor statue cruise. At 90 minutes, it was the perfect amount of time to see beautiful views, the statue of liberty and three bridges. I enjoyed the bits of tour narration and don't feel they were overpowering. The captain and crew were beyond friendly and helpful. The tour was a nice, personal experience. We were not crowded on a tourist type boat and the vessel itself was really beautiful. Who can complain when there is champagne? I would definitely do it again.

Great Way to See the Statue of Liberty!

My partner and I were looking for a brief (2-3 hour) way to see the Statue of Liberty, without fuss or bother - this cruise was perfect! The boat is clean, attractive, and nicely decorated (for autumn, right now). The crew is polite, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Not only did we get great views of the Statue, but we also had stunning views of the City Skyline, as well as bridges and other landmarks, with ace narration the whole time (with perfect acoustics - an added treat). There were indoor and outdoor seating options....plenty of opportunities for photos.....free first round of champagne/drinks.....and an altogether lovely way to spend an afternoon. I highly recommend it!

Trip highlight

My husband and I were visiting from Australia. We had done a hop on/off tour around Manhattan and took the harbour skyline cruise to get another perspective. We loved it and really thought it was the highlight of the visit. The crew were friendly (loved the glass of champagne) and we had a really well narrated tour down the Hudson and up the East rivers and got some great close up shots of the Statue of Liberty, including one that the crew took of us. I can thoroughly recommend the trip to anyone.
