| There are two boats run by this company - one is a sail boat, the other is a 1920's yacht. They are both beautiful boats and offer great cruising around lower Manhattan. I've been on the sail boat twice and really enjoyed it. This time we booked late, for July 3, and the sail boat was booked. We opted for the yacht. While waiting to board the yacht the sail boat filled up with a very young, hip, good looking crowd and the yacht line grew long with families, lots of kids and some older folks. Well, we were in the mood for the younger, hipper crowd... anyway, can't always get what you want. So, the cruise was nice, very knowledgeable captain offering up all kinds of interesting tidbits about the harbor but with all the kids running around, it wasn't exactly the mood we were going for. None the less, either boat is recommended, especially for out of towners. Pulling right up to the Statue of Liberty... there's nothing quite like it. Awesome.... |

| My girlfriend and I had an enjoyable evening. The cool breeze on the water was a welcome relief to the hot weather of the day. The Captain provided us with a great tour. I would recommend this to my friends. |

| A friend suggested this activity to me and my husband. She joined us on the Manhattan, too, and we all had a great time seeing the NYC skyline under the setting sun. I was able to take some great photos of the city, the Statue of Liberty, and the bridges as we passed under them. The yacht is spacious! We were able to sit out on the deck and enjoy our cocktails, then sat inside towards the end of the sail. Overall, an enjoyable experience that I would suggest to anyone touring NYC! |

| I just moved to the city and was told this is the way to see the city skyline & Statue of Liberty without being with all the tourist crowds. It was a smooth ride with a great crew. I was able to enjoy this with my friends peacefully. I will definately recommend this to all my friends and family that come into the city. Thanks SailNYC! |

| My boyfriend and I had a great time on the sunset cruise! The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. I liked that it wasn't too crowded; there were about 30 people in all, so there was plenty of room to see all the different views and move around. The cruise leaves from Chelsea Piers, lingers near the Statue of Liberty for a few minutes, and then travels up the east side of the city near the empire state building.
One word of caution: the website says the boat leaves from Pier 61, but it actually leaves from Pier 59. It's only a minute away, but can make the difference if you're running really late. |

| Definately a fun way to spend the evening! Great views of the city, Statue of Liberty, and bridges to Manhattan. Very relaxing as the crew gave a little overview of the sites (and of course you could as for more info if you wanted), which allowed you to enjoy the views. We did this on our first night arriving in the city. It was a great start to the evening and ended at a perfect time to head to dinner in the Meat Packing District. |

| As part of birthday trip to NYC, I took 20 friends on the magnificent "Manhattan". First we picked up box dinners at Mangia, and then had drinks at the port before we left. On board, we were treated to one free beer/wine/champagne, and after that the bar had a great selection.
The yacht is set up perfectly for relaxed cruising in the rear with big tables surrounded by comfortable built-in seating, where we enjoyed the boxed dinners we'd brought. The front is perfect for breeze in the hair, "king of the world" viewing of the skyline. Even the restrooms are lovely, with white roses and small oriental rugs!
The crew was welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable.
An excellent value, a gracious alternative to the Circle Line, and an experience we'll remember fondly.
We'll happily return in a New York Minute! |
