Seller Description:
Classic Harbor Line of Chelsea Piers operates 2 of the most exceptional resident sail vessels in the New York Harbor: the Schooners Adirondack and Adirondack III. They held the record finishes in the Chesapeake Bay Schooner Race for 14 consecutive seasons (1994 - 2007). Though they are light and lively sailing vessels, they are also quite comfortable, with ample deck space and seating for up to 49. They were built and designed for taking groups of people on spectacular sightseeing adventures by Scarano Boat Building of Albany, NY.
They are operated by Coast Guard certified captains and extremely friendly and talented crew.
Sailing these schooners is an absolute honor and a privilege. They move through the water so efficiently and beautifully, we take great pride in sharing them with you. Known for their amazing hospitality, our crew is all professionally trained and experienced on sailing our vessels well and safely. Do not hesitate to ask our crew about the boat or any of the NYC sites.

Activity Description
Join us for a magical, moonlit view of Manhattan aboard the Schooner Adirondack.
On this sail, you will experience the splendor of the New York City nighttime skyline under the bright, radiating moonlight.
Some moonlit sights during your sail will include:
The sensational city lights across the NYC Skyline (fantastic veiws of the city from Empire State Building to the Financial District)
Ellis Island, welcoming immigrants to America from 1892 to 1954
The Statue of Liberty, proudly bearing the torch of American freedomComplimentary champagne, wine, beer and soda will be provided. (One quick note: we will serve a few rounds, but it is not an unlimited booze-cruise. We aim to create an elegant, relaxing, peaceful, and safe experience for all of our guests.)
We will be shutting off our engines and setting sail for as much of the trip as possible.

What Is Not Included?
Food is not served during the sail, but please feel free to bring your own picnic!
Gratuity is not included in the price of your sail. Parties of 12 or more will be contacted shortly after purchasing tickets to provide credit card information for an additional charge of 18% gratuity.
