Full Moon Sail on the Schooner Adirondack

What a wonderful way to explore the City, whether you are a tourist or a local. We found it to be a very romantic and relaxing cruise and the crew was wonderful.

I have taken several trips on the Schooner Adirondack which have included a solo journey, entertaining out-of-town guests and most recently, the Full Moon Sail with my boyfriend. Each sail has been uniquely memorable, but the Full Moon Sail was a particularly lovely and peaceful experience. The setting and mood really do set the tone, even with our group where there were a few well-behaved bachelorette party members in attendance. Locals shouldn't worry that this is a tourist-trap booze cruise. It's not! It's a refuge from the hustle and bustle without even leaving the island of Manhattan. When you dock, be sure to check out the equally tranquil Chelsea Piers Park.

We went during a full moon. It was a very nice night out and the ride was smooth. Very Romantic. We are definitely going to go again (and invite some friends)

We went on a Friday night as group of 7 for a bachelorette party. We had a fantastic time. The views of the city lights at night were awesome and we sailed fairly close to the Statue of Liberty. The crew was very friendly and accommodating to our group. We were well served in regards to champagne and wine. We were able to get a coupon code simply by calling the office and inquiring about a discount since we had a larger group. Overall, we had such a great time. It was a great way to start off our first night in the big city.

A great tour which included views of Lower Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty at night. The crew was helpful but unobtrusive and made sure I had some good beers to drink during my journey. Since this is not a huge boat, there are not crowds to tend to, so service was personal and attentive. I've been to Manhattan many times and seen most of the sights. This tour is a highlight of all of my visits, ever.

This event was a birthday gift to my girlfriend and she loved it. The weather was perfect and the sail was intiment. She thought it was extremely romantic. I highly recommend this to any couple or family who wants to see the sights of NYC.

We sailed on the full moon trip. It was beautiful!!! Perfect weather. Few clouds and great views of both NJ and Manhattan skylines. Highly recommend. But if it's a tour and with history info this might not be for you.

We really enjoyed our full moon cruise this July. Loved the complimentary drinks and polite personnel. Treated our kids very well, too. Highly recommended during summer months.

My husband and I really enjoyed this. I had been under the (mistaken) impression that we'd round the tip and go up the east river a bit too, but actually we just sailed down the lower west side, right up to Lady Liberty (breathtaking in the moonlight- really- I think everyone on the boat caught their breath and held it when we came right up to it). Worth the $. I'd like to do another cruise of Classic's; I could see doing a daytime one with parents when they visit. who doesn't love being out on the water!

We had an amazing time. Even on a cloudy night, the views were great and we were able to get some amazing pictures...Will definitely go again.
