| My husband and I received the tickets for the full moon sail as an anniversary gift, and - I must say - there is no better way to view the Manhattan, Brooklyn, and NJ skylines AND the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and all the bridges on a warm September evening. The crew was delightful and the peacefulness of sailing was perfect. Thank you! |

| This was a birthday gathering of 6 and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Much quieter and more intimate ride than ferries and motorized yachts. You really are on the water and in the open air but very comfortable even with a full ship which ours was. Except for a light snack, I would not recommend eating on board even though it is permitted. Too cramped if full and not enough time for a real meal. I also don't recommend the champagne served on board! But the crew was experienced, knowledgeable and friendly and the views spectacular. I would have loved a 3-hour cruise instead of 2 hours (for the same price of course!) |

| As a tough old cynical West Side New Yorker I really enjoyed this "tourist" adventure. The price keeps down the number of kiddies and oddies, so one sailed with reasonable people and a friendly crew. I guess if I had a suggestion, it would be to begin the sail a little later as the moon had trouble showing itself out of the low haze that surrounds the city. Seeing the Statue of Liberty up close and personal was awesome. Wish we could have hung out there a bit longer. All in all ... a super time. Best wishes. |

| We are experienced sailors and were a little concerned that this might be rather anemic excursion. Not at all. The Adirondack is a lovely 65' gaff schoonerand the crew were very competent and accomodating in every way. The boat handling was excellent, and the skipper kept everyone dry.
We were luck to have beautiful weather - there could have been more wind... - and the sunset to the west and moon-rise off the ocean were spectacular, especially with the added backdrop of the lights of New York and the Jersey Shore.
We all enjoyed the evening very much and would love to do it again tomorrow. |
