Full Moon Sail on the Schooner Adirondack

We thoroughly enjoyed our full moon sail. The captain and crew were very friendly and professional. It was such a relaxing way to see the city lights, and it is definitely the best way to see the Statue of Liberty. The breeze was also really pleasant after a hot day. We would recommend the sail without hesitation.

The boat ride we took was really lovely... full moon, unseasonably nice weather after a short rainstorm earlier in the day. The views of Manhattan and Jersey are beautiful--though who'd have thought Jersey was beautiful? :) Look out for the Colgate clock on the far side of the river. Seeing the Statue of Liberty late at night, close up, was also much more impressive than I would have thought. The three employees--captain and waiters--were nice, funny, and generous (I think it says on the website that you get two drinks, but they basically kept pouring as much as you asked for.) We went for a friend's birthday and it was so nice we decided we should do it once a month, every summer.

Even though I'm from the local area, I've never done anything like this before (though I've always wanted to). We did the City Lights tour for our anniversary. I chose this because it looked romantic, fun, and different than other touristy adventures in NYC. I read the great reviews and decided to go for it; I'm glad that I did!! There's nothing like NYC at night! The staff was so helpful and courteous. It wasn't a guided tour, but if you asked any questions, the staff was able to answer them easily. We had personalized attention and were given a few complimentary beverages (beer, wine, or soda). Randomly there were fireworks going off at the tip of Manhattan/Staten Island area so we were treated to a nice fireworks show on the water!! I would definitely recommend this to couples (of any age) or a small group of friends looking for a nice, relaxing night out on the water. I would do it again in a second! If you go, you won't be disappointed!

The moonlight cruise was beautiful. The crew was friendly and enthusiastic and we felt we were in safe hands with the captain. She knew how to handle the boat with ease. The amount of beverages we got with the trip was perfect, not too much and not too little and the service was good. The cruise was just long enough and gave a great view of the NY sky line. The only downside was that the boat seemed overcrowded - as if too many tickets were sold, it felt cramped. Overall, had a great experience and look forward to another fun cruise.

Very nice crew-proffesional. Description of cruise was exactly what we experienced. A quiet sail to enjoy the full moon and city lights We were offered drinks three or four times during the cruise. I highly reccomend this trip for couples.

I live in Manhattan and whenever the weather warms and summer is at my front door I cannot help but plan one of these romantic sails - so relaxing! No crazy disco parties here.

My wife went to New York for our honeymoon, and was given tickets for the night time cruise as a wedding gift. We had an amazing time. The staff was very friendly and the selection of local microbrewed beer was very nice
