The crew were very knowledgeable, friendly and more then generous with the food and drink. The sushi was top notch and the captain had quite a sense of humor and made the trip very enjoyable. I'd do it again any time.

I went on the sushi sail with my husband and another couple. The staff was amazing and we had a great night. It's the perfect way to see the city and have some good sushi.

We had a wonderful time on the Sushi & Saki Sunset Sail! We came away with some fabulous photos of the sunset and Statue of Liberty too! The boat was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this excursion!

The boat was awesome, the views were amazing and the crew was very attentive. I would definitely recommend this trip to others. The food was good, but I wouldn't say it was best I've ever had. However, I don't think that is the focal point of the trip anyway! This is a great trip for tourists and locals alike!

One of my best experiences in NY

There's always a fear that one of these boat excursions, aka Booze Cruise, turns into something very cheesy and very annoying. The thought of being trapped on a boat with sloppy drunks and Chet on the micorphone telling us about the history of the Colgate clock in Jersey are not what I consider an ideal evening. This experience, however, is not typical and is a delight. The schooner is so much better than the typical party boat. The views of Manhattan are incredible and I was surprised with how much cooler the air is on the water. The crew was fantastic and I was especially impressed with how the sushi and sake were integrated with aplomb. Don't miss this trip.

Best crew of any of the NYC sailing cruises!

Over the past six years, I've gone on 10-15 NYC sailing cruises, and this crew was the most friendly by far! The boat wasn't too crowded, as many of these types of cruises are, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

My buddy and I really enjoyed the event. it was a perfect day, great food & Sake.....and a wonderful crew. It was so much fun, i would definitely do it again. My only disappointment was that it is billed as "Morimoto" sushi & sake, which implied to me that someone from the resturant would be present and perhaps doing a presentation on the food. In fact, I am not sure that I can recall his name ever being mentioned. However, the food was good wherever it came from and the crew did a wonderful job in serving the food and explaining the wines. I would recommend that unless morimoto's or his name is featured more during the event, you should remove his name from the title. Otherwise it's false advertising. His name is was drew me to the event, however once there.....the event was grand enough to stand on its own without.

Overall I thing it was a fantastic experience and a class act. I am a firm believer that there is always room for improvement - so here are some of my suggestion...... 1 - Have the captain give an indepth history of the boat - and a brief intro to sailing and the parts of the ship 2 - Introduce the sushi chef at the beginning of the cruise - I was onder the impression it was premade and in a cooler downstairs until he came up at the end of the cruise. 3 - some kind of music is necessary - being an avid sailor - i know the beauty of sailing is the silence and or sound of the wind and waves - some light music would have added to the mood . Use typical sailing music....enya - sail away , christopher cross - sailing, & come sail away 4- class acts use cloth napkins not paper 5 - see if you can find a suchi plate with the soy sauce dish built in 6- matching seat cushions for everyone is a must - while people came in various forms of dress - most come after work and are fairly well dresses - so they dont want to sit on anything (dirty or wet) 7- missing was a dessert - would have been a nice touch to a beautiful evening. In no way should any of these comments take away from the beautfiul experince I had. They are just some suggestions. PS - The crew was FANTASTIC - absolutely top notch - very polite an helpful.
