Day Sail on Schooners Adirondack

Loved the views of the city and Statue of Liberty. Staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and enjoyable.

This cruise was my third on the Adirondack and there is not a better way to see Lady Liberty and the New York City skyline. Sailing up the Hudson with no engine noise, will put you in mind of the explorers when they entered the harbor and is far more relaxing than the motor cruises, which I've also taken. The icing on the cake is the captain and crew which combine expert sailing with genial hosting. Make your reservation now!

The sail was a perfect end to our busy day of walking. The staff was knowledgable and very attentive. Would recommend this activity to anyone visting New York City. Would love to come back and do the Sushi cruise.

You will not be dissapointed! I surprised my boyfriend with this trip and we both had a blast. You get an amazing view of the city and you get super close to the Statue of Liberty. The crew was awesome, really down to earth and cool. You get a few rounds of beers which was a great plus. Would recommend this trip to anyone, and would do it again! Ps. There's an awsome brew company on the Peir that's a must do.

My son is a student at NYU and this was one of several visits we have made to NYC during his tenure there. We are running out of "new" things to do in the city during our visits and decided to book a 2 hour sail on the Schooner Adirondack after looking at the reviews on tripadvisor.com. It was by far one of our favorite experiences ever - the crew was absolutely determined to make this a wonderful experience for all of us, and they succeeded. It was windy and cold during our sail and they provided blankets and hot chocolate to help keep us warm, and fielded all of our questions with great information about all the things we were seeing. They were very very friendly and made sure to talk to each person on the cruise. The sailboat was in excellent condition and we were very comfortable - our group ranged in age from 20 - 75 years old and we all equally enjoyed the experience. I would highly recommend doing this instead of taking another Statue of Liberty viewing cruise - we were able to get very close to the statue while avoiding all of the crowds and hassles. It was also nice to see the progress on the One World Trade Center from the Hudson as well as great views of other iconic NYC buildings such as the Empire State Building. I can't say enough positive things about this cruise.

Enjoyed seeing Manhattan from another perspective, and was quiet and enjoyable. Crew was excellent and helpful, and was a thoroughly enjoyable time!!

This was a very nice experience , you can really see the city from a distance and see the statue up close , the crew was amazing , they were pleasant , friendly and accommodating . Thanks for a wonderful time .

Excellent excursion. Excellent crew makes you feel welcome and seem very safety conscious. The Adirondack was a comfortable and smooth sailing boat.
