What a wonderful way to see Manhattan

The weather was wonderful which I'm sure contributed to our enjoyment but sailing on the Hudson with the spectacular views of Manhattan and New Jersey was just brilliant. Best way to view the statue of liberty up close too. Plenty of excellent photo opportunities plus the breeze in your hair and the wonderful quietness of sailing around what is one of the busiest and bustliest places I've ever visited, and I live in London! We enjoyed it emmensely and would recomment the experience to anyone.

A gorgeous day in New York Harbor

We sailed down to the Statue of Liberty, motoring the last little bit because the wind died. Then, we caught the wind and had a bracing sail in the harbor before heading back to dock. Really fun, and interesting to see the lower Manhattan and Jersey shores from the water.

it was a beautiful relaxing trip with great weather. the captain was a delight and friendly. there were only sixteeen people on the boat. very relaxing and it gave us all a different view of new york. we were four high school friends for over 50 years and each year we get together in a different city to see the town. we spend about a week in each city. this was one of our most delightful day. different and something most tourist to not do. they missing something.

We had such a nice day sail, we didn't want to come back to port. The crew was friendly and funny and worked together well for a beautiful sail. There were only about 10 people on the trip, which made it nice to have your own space on the deck. Also, it was much cooler out on the water, so bring layers. Basically, we had a great time and I reccommend taking the Adirondack.
