We were fortunate enough to sail out on a beautiful afternoon for the day sail. The views of downtown Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty were spectacular. The crew was extremely helpful and courteous. I definitely recommend sailing out on the Adirondack and plan on going for a sunset sail with them sometime soon.

This was my second time on board the Adirondack. The crew is friendly and helpful. It was a great way to enjoy a Sat afternoon...relaxing yet adventurous at the same time. I went w/ a few of my friends for my Birthday. We packed a light picnic and it was perfect. Bsure to have sunblock, sunglasses and shoes/ sandels that grip as the sail can tilt quite a bit. I do not advise ladies to wear heels. Flat and sandals are best.

The ride was a great way to spend an afternoon with some friends and see the harbor. And a great alternative over the typical boat cruise around the statue.

We enjoyed the trip. We would have enjoyed more conversation from the captain about sailing and what we were seeing.

We will definitely recommend a trip aboard the Adirondack to our friends visiting New York. It was in the top 3 activities we did whilst in New York. The trip is a great way to see Manhattan and the weather was perfect.

Even if you have already seen the Statue of Liberty or Ellis Island via the ferry this trip is definitely worth taking. The views of the skyline from the Hudson are breathtaking and the crew was delightful and very informative. Take your wife, your children your friends and other family......it's a trip to remember.

This weekend my brother and I suddenly decided to take a cruise around manhattan. It was unbelievable to be able to buy tickets online. But wasn't even the best part, this is a sailing cruise, literally, shut the engine off and let the wind take you around the city. It was absolutely beautiful on a nice summer day. The crew was so pleasant as well. Definitely worth a try, and I will probably go again.

A chilled out sail around New York

The Captain and Crew of the Adironack were fantastic as was the lovely schooner. We had a great sail upwind to the Statue of Liberty, the yacht was lively enough to be exciting whilst stable enough for small children (or the elderly). We were well suplied with drinks and information by an attentative crew, but for me the other passengers made the trip even more rewarding. Living in London (UK) I was suprised to find so many New Yorkers taking a trip in thier backyard. I had a number of great conversations and learned a lot about life in NY - Thanks. Turning for home we had a slow but plesant sail downwind back to Chelsea Pier. It was only a two hour trip, but a highlight of my NY weekend. Thanks to all those onboard!

Great Cruise

It was great, they left you alone to do your own thing and only bothered you to ask you if you wanted a drink. If you wanted information they had it but there was no loud speaker with a guy saying over there is blah blah blah. Great time to spend with someone out on the river
