| This tour is a must do in New York. The staff is great, the views are amazing, and it is definitely worth the time. It doesn't get better than cruising down the Hudson from Chelsea Piers only under the power of the wind.
it starts out under power of the motor to get away from the piers, but as soon as you are in open water, they drop the sails and you head south toward the Statue of Liberty and Eilis Island.
Once they have the sails trimmed, the crew comes around and asks what type of drink you would like and then it is a relaxing two hours. You get to see Manhattan and its wonderful skyline from the water, you get up close to the Statue of Liberty and Eilis Island, and you get a cool and relaxing couple of hours on the water.
The price is not bad either.
Take the time and enjoy the Schooner Tour while you are in New York City. |

| Two hours on the Hudson with a great crew made for a perfect summer's day. Relief from the sweltering city, it must of been 20 degrees cooler on the water. Great views, great staff ,great ride. |

| We were a group of 7 with four children ages 11-16. There were 5 other passengers on the 4:30PM trip. It felt like we had the boat to ourselves. The captain and his mates were very personable and even let the children take the wheel at different points.
I've done the Circle Line Cruise and other larger cruise ships as I have family in to visit, but something about being in a smaller group (the schooner capacity is 48 or 49 people) on the water in a sailboat really elevated the experience.
They serve complimentary beverages on board. The young ones had a ball-the timing was just right (at 2 hours).
I strongly recommend it. |

| The crew was really nice, free drinks all around, and great views of the city. If you like sailing, it's a very nice little cruise for the money. |

Couple on a Date |
| This is a hidden gem in NYC. I'm a local, but thoroughly enjoy the day sailing trips through SailNYC. Albeit a bit touristy, it's really not - the crew doesn't crack cheesy jokes or bother you with announcements. They man the boat and let you enjoy the beautiful views and an ice cold beer. Highly recommend this trip - a great price and a lovely way to spend an afternoon in New York. |

| Well run day sail around NY Harbor. Captain paid special attention to two 10 or 11 year boys, letting them man the helm while he stood next to them. Good service from two other crew members. Lots of fun in a steady 20mph wind out of the SSW. |

| Highly recommend, especially to celebrate a special occaision. I was confused when ordering tickets. I thought there was a max of 6 tickets; so I only purchased 6. I would have brought along additional people, if I knew the size and capacity of the ship. |
