Day Sail on Schooners Adirondack

Simple amazing from the boat to the crew to the amazing views! A must do!

When we went out, it was a gorgeous day with awesome visibility. You could see the city, New Jersey, statue of liberty, verazzano bridge, brooklyn, etc,etc. The captain and sailors were fun and lively (and not bad too look at :) ). I took my mom, dad, friend from Seattle, my 14 yr old brother and my 10 yr old cousin. They loved it!! Will do it every time i come to visit this beautiful city. Thanks SailNYC!!

My coworkers and I embarked on the "Schooner Adirondack" daytime sailboat tour for our annual outdoor team outing. We had a fantastic time- beautiful views of the city in combination with a friendly staff made for a great team bonding exercise. Highly recommmended!

The sail was what I expected: smith and comfortable

Went on the Andirondack for an anniversary outing. It was amazing. Even though you are on a small boat, you have enough privacy to be yourself. Very soothing and relaxing activity. I recommend this to everyone both young and old.

I live in NY and my parents came to visit for the weekend. The tour is quite nice and is a good way to relax and talk with the people you are with. It is not a guided tour, so if you are looking for a description of everything you pass, you might want to go elsewhere. However, the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable if you have questions. The boat itself is beautiful and sail is smooth and fun. The staff comes around and offers drinks 3 times while on the sail and you are more than welcome to bring snacks or anything else you might want. Overall, it is a great way to spend 2 hours on a day with nice weather. I would certainly recommend the sail!

I was looking for a thoughtful way to celebrate my dad's 60th birthday. I moved from Long Island to Northern Virginia in February 2008. I wanted to do something special with my father for his birthday and I wanted to have quality time with him-just myself and him. My husband found this specific tour and it was just perfect. It captured great parts of the city. Even though my father was born and raised in NY, he loved it. I would recommend it to anyone-both a local and tourist alike!

The sail was a surprise to my mother and grandmother, they were impressed! I would recommend this experience to anyone. It was certainly a nice way to take a break from the craziness of the city. I would like to take the night sail the next time I visit. My parents, grandmother, and I felt all of the crew was friendly and helpful, overall the experience was very enjoyable!

Breathtaking. I loved it all. The crew was so great and the Captain Andrew was very sweet! Thanks guys for making my girl her first Birthdau NYC the nest one yet! :)

I'm not normally one for sailing, but this was a very nice afternoon. You have your own space, and everyone is free to have their own conversations. It almost feels like you're on the boat with your party despite the fact that there are other groups there. It's more of a low-key atmosphere than a typical booze cruise, but the beers are good too. Overall it was a great experience at a reasonable price.
