We had a wonderful time on our saling adventure and would highly recommend it. I took my daughters who are 13 and 17 and they had a great time. Much better than the traditional boat ride we were considering. We had a great time with the other passengers from Google. They made the trip alot of fun. The crew was great and kept the cokes and water coming. My girls had never been to the city so this was a great way to see the city. Great Fun!!!!

I recently took my family on the Adirondack to see NY, specifically to allow my 5 year old twins to see the Statue of Liberty. The crew was so friendly and amazing and the trip itself was so refreshing. I highly recommend it!!

From the ticket taker to the Capt & crew this was a trip well worth the ticket investment. It was our 39 wedding anniv and a surprise for my wife.We both enjoyed the time spent with the crew ,the weather was perfect ,and we look forward to doing it again, the only regret was the trip wasn't longer. There is no formal narration but if you sit toward the back near the captian, you can ask questions which she happily answers and hear the questions and answers of others about the sites you are passing. This was a wonderful trip for my husband and I, in our 60's, and our son and his girlfriend. But this will be weather dependant as you are out in the open. Breath taking views of of the NY skyline and Statue of Liberty. Not crowded and very personal - and we sailed on Memorial Day. They were fully booked, but it's just a small activitiy. There are no lines and no crowds. Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful, scenic way to spend a few hours. Including the Pier # in the directions would have made it easier to find.

We took the "day sail" (40$) and it was worth every single penny and then some. There were only about 10 people on this particular sail and it was so wonderful to be off the hot concrete of NYC in August and out on the river in a beautiful sailboat. The captain, Andrew), was wonderful as were the two "mates" -- they were all convivial and congenial and although we knew no one on the boat before the sail, while on the water it really felt like we were a group of friends on our own yacht. The schooner was solid, swift, and elegant. It was a pleasure to watch the ferries, water taxis, sailboats, and even a cruise ship, motoring along with the NYC skyline behind while drinking a complimentary local beer and conversing with Andrew and the others. The greatest way to see the Statue of Liberty too! Sailing is the way to see the NY harbor and Statue of Liberty and these guys do a truly incredible job. Great value and one of the best experiences I had while in New York City for 9 days. I will definitely be going on this trip again when I return to New York - probably the night "city lights" tour. Highly recommended.
