$45 is a great deal. Really good perspective on NY. Three rounds of drinks, very relaxed atmosphere, great fun crew. I'll be doing this again.

I went with three friends of mine and we had a great time. This is not a tour, so the crew doesn't point things out and talk about them, although they will answer questions. It was nice to have a few drinks and catch up with my friends while sailing down the Hudson.

Amazingly different side of New York!

This afternoon's tour was the highlight of our day-- to see NY from the water, with only the wind at our backs! We were not too chatty-- cause the sights and scene were a feast for our senses. I noticed that other adults also were not too talkative, as we all shared photo ops with each other-- especially when we passed the Stautue of Liberty-- we were ALL silent. Most humbling experience. Wind-powered vessel in NY harbor. Wow! My friend said she'd remember this for ever. Me, too. --At first, I wanted more 'info' from Capt. Pat... but then, the silence over the waves was so delicious that we were glad for no additional noise. I'm recommending this experience to my NY friends, and friends visiting NY (like myself, who is a born in NY-er.) Thank you, and thank Captain Pat for us, too. The crew was just warm and welcoming and respectful of our desired peace. --RW Colorado God Speed on your way.

Crew is very accommodating and the Beer is cold! The view of New York and New Jersey from the harbor is great and the position of the Statue of Liberty from the Water provides some great photo ops!! There were five family members from 24 to 58 years old and we debated as to whether to take the ride AGAIN the next day, but.....it was sold out! The weather plays a key role as to the enjoyment level, but even on a misty, cloudy day (like we had) it was great.

My husband is a sailboat owner so I thought this would be a great outing during our New York trip and we were not disappointed. We left Chelesa Piers and sailed down the Hudson into the bay and past the Statue of Liberty then came about and sailed back up. It was a nice leisurely trip with great sights of both the Manhattan and New Jersey coastline. Captain Kat and her crew were very capable and provided us with a lot of information. This was such a great way to spend the afternoon. We highly recommend this excursion.

Afternoon Change of Scenery

We wanted to take part in a local activity away from the everyday hussle and bussle, and wanted it to be relaxing yet fun at the same time. I would recommend this activity and rate it a 10. Sometimes, we forget how beautiful our local scenery can be and sailing the Hudson magnifies the beauty of the architecture from the NY and NJ point of view. The staff is at it's upmost professional level and welcome you with open arms. If you are a photo buff or an amerteur one this is your opportunity to hone your photo skills since there is so much to capture. We have decided to go back for a second. Thanks for a great afternoon to the guys on the Schooners Adirondack. Looking forward to seeing you again real soon.
