The sail was wonderful. The crew was very polite and answered our questions about the sail boat while managing their tasks. The vessel felt very comfortable and safe. I enjoyed the quiet and surprise sights. We spotted the missile cruiser New York while on the Hudson. If you want to really treat out of town guests this is the way to do it.

And they could not have been more accommodating or helpful to my companion who is blind. Getting on and off a sailboat is not an easy feat and they were watchful and kind to both my companion and his guide dog. Knowledgeable about the city and passing sights, but not intrusive with information. A very pleasant two hours. They should be commended!

I am so happy to have discovered this line of cruises -- We did the afternoon sail on the schooner Adirondack, and it was SO pleasant, even with limp weather -- The captain and crew were professional, attentive and pleasant. The boat is a much more attractive way to take in the skyline and Statue of Liberty than one of the bigger tour boats, and drinks were included for the price. If the day is perfect for sailing, I say, take a long lunch break and get out there -- you'll feel like you had a mini vacation for $45 a person. You can even bring your own picnic!

Beautiful boat, gorgeous day, relaxing and fun way to spend an afternoon. I felt like I was on a mini-vacation. I took a friend who was in town and she had no idea that this was an option as a way to "see" New York.

Nice outing to take friends who want to see NYC

This works as a great first activity for friends visiting the city. You go out on the water, the breeze is wonderful and you can sit and talk while the city passes in front of you. Although you board with other groups who are strangers, everyone is in their own group of friends, talking among themselves. It almost feels as though you just decided to take the boat out for a spin while you have some drinks with friends. There is no guiding info, but you can ask any of the crew to identify a building or something that you're passing. All in all, a great way to start a holiday weekend in NYC with friends. Relaxing and calm.
