| What to do for Mother's Day with two over-20 children was a problem, espcially since no one enjoys my preferences: a museum or a play. We found the schooner info on a website and our problem was solved. Although the weather was a bit chilly the sun was shining and we had a lovely sail with a beautiful, upclose and quiet view of the city skylines, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, all the lower Manhattan bridges and the Verrazano. The crew was upbeat, couteous and obliging. We had some "guest skippers" (kids from other groups) who did very well. The NY State champagne we purchased on board was very fine and thanks to the thorough description online, we even knew to bring cheese, veggies and dip to enjoy with it! All that, and blankets for when the sun went in and we felt a little chill! Thanks for a geat Mother's Day. |

| We were lucky enough to have strong winds and tons of sun. Although we listed dramatically, no one in our group felt seasick. The crew was friendly and knowledgable. Our cruise was pretty crowded (25+ people) but we barely noticed. After living in NYC for 12 years I would put this activity in my Top 3 fun things to do in the city. |

| I bought 2 tickets for my boyfriend's birthday. While the weather was overcast, we still had a fabulous time! The captain and crew were perfect - not overly enthusiastic, willing to answer questions, interacted with the group - just overall fantastic! They serve 3 rounds of drinks and you're encouraged to bring your own picnic as there are no snacks. It was a super delightful trip and I hope to go again soon!!! |

| We really enjoyed our trip around Manhattan. We got really close to the Statue of Liberty and the NYC skyline was incredible. The crew was very personable and informative about the history of New York.
Also, I left my camera on the boat and I called about an hour later to ask if they found it. One of the staff members found the camera and actually brought it to us at a restaurant several blocks away. We were so impressed with the thoughtfulness! |

| The SailNYC experience is first rate from the front desk staff to the courteous crew and knowledgeable and well-keeled captain (Captain Kat- my wife and daughtersgirls couldn't stop talking about you all the way home!). We appreciated the call to alert us about the impending departure as we hastily found parking and once we were on the schooner, we knew we were in for a unique experience. The Adirondack is an excellent vessel, seaworthy and handcrafted with care and precision. The views of New York City and Jersey City made for wonderful photo-ops and I was thrilled as my family members steered the ship (under the captain's nurturing guidance). My wife was so taken by the experience , she was seriously considering to come back for the sunset tour for that same day! The weather was ideal and the friendly crew was ready to serve drinks and dispense information in a gracious manner. Overall, a delightful way to spent time in the city and build lasting memories. |

| Since it was a nice Saturday and we didn't have time for a trip upstate we looked for something else to do. My husband found your Adirondack ride on internet.
We enjoyed the low key and the fact that you served wine and beer. A very nice touch. We will repeat it.
Thank you.

| Had a great time. I am an experienced sailor myself and the skipper answered all of my annoying questions about the boat, the river, etc. When I travel I often try to book a sailing trip and the skippers are sometimes annoyed at another sailor asking a lot of know-it-all questions (I don't blame them), but your guys were great and were genuinely enthusiastic about teaching me about the boat and asking about my personal sailing experience. It was a good experience for my date too, because she puked (and it wasn't even rough at all) and we realized that we were not compatible and broke up the next day -no joke! Hey, life is short, you need to know these things as soon as possible... |
