| We were very lucky to have a picture-perfect October day for our cruise. Our group of five ranged in ages 22-85 and everyone enjoyed it. The crew was most attentive about helping my elderly mother on/off the ship. They came around often to offer us drinks and were well informed about the sites. I highly recommend this trip and look forward to the upcoming fall foliage cruise. |

| We chose one of those amazing October's day, scheduled to be the last warm one of the year. We had an amazing time, the schooner is just beautiful, perfectly mantained and comfortable. And crew is friendly and professional. Just perfect. |

Wow!
Who in their right mind would sit for endless hours in a throbbing metal tub seeking out a couple of dozen bridges (yawn) when they could enjoy the thrill of real sailing on this sleek and safe open-decked classic-styled schooner?
We took both an afternoon and an evening trip and each offered their own special features such that it would be hard to say which we liked best. Seeing Liberty and the Manhattan skyline either in daylight or all lit-up at night as we rocked gently on the water was awesome, whilst the generous distribution of beer, wine (Champagne in the evening!) and soft drinks helped to turn a great fun trip practically into a party! As the sails filled in the breeze we were sent hurtling along just inches from the churning foam, adding an extra dimension to our enjoyment.
Special thanks to Sarah, Jay and the other crew members who worked so hard to make our trips so memorable. I shall wear my Adirondack sweatshirt with all due reverence for these gallant folk who spend their days gadding about the tip of the Hudson River for our pleasure (well, someone has to do it!). C&A, England, October 2006. |

| The captain and crew of two took good care of us while dealing with the schooner in a skilled manner. The weather many not of been the best, but that was okay, and I think all had a good time. I know I had a fantastic time and would love to sail again on the Adirondack. Have been telling my friends about the whole experience in a positive way. Thanks again! |

| We live in NJ. I purchased 2 tickets the day before the sail (Wednesday). On Thursday we took the train in and headed to Chelsea Piers. I then got a call from the Adirondack captain that they needed 6 passengers to cover their costs, and only 4 had signed up, therefore they were cancelling the sail. They did give me a prompt refund, and I understand that they need to cover their costs.
HOWEVER, we still had the inconvenience of buying train tickets and changing our whole day around so that we could sail. It was a beautiful perfect sailing day and we were very disappointed.
I do think that if the Adirondack is going to offer "non-refundable" tickets (with 24 hour notice) then it should work both ways! I should have been given 24 hour notice that they would not sail. Or, they should have sailed and taken the $100 loss as a cost of doing business. It was really not fair of them to cancel on us after we'd bought what we thought were non-refundable tickets and travelled into the city.
SO - go ahead and buy tickets - I'm sure it's a great sail - but be aware that you could still be cancelled at the last minute unless they've already met their minimum.

| Our group had a terrific outing on the Adirondack. Captain Pete and his crew were so friendly and they answered all our questions. We met a family from Florida and really found that our time together on the boat fostered community, companionship, and relaxation! Can't wait for the Fall Foliage Sail!

| Even with cloudy skies the sail was magnificent. My friend had not sailed prior to this experience and was delighted with the whole process. It was fun, the crew is enjoyable and knowledgeable for history of the area, and the beverages were nice as well. Thanks. |
