| The schooner ride was absolutely wonderful. The crew was helpful and friendly and it was nice to see NYC for yourself without a structured tour. Being out on the water was beautiful and relaxing, a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon! |

| Really enjoyed the day sail, had a perfect day weather wise. On my trip the boat was completely at capacity so there was very little wiggle room, would have been nice to have a little more room to relax. Crew was attentive and cool. A really nice way to enjoy the Hudson without an annoying narrative tourist script. |

| I had contracted for the ride in April, but ruptured my achilles tendon shortly. Rescheduled for 9/7. Tropical storm Hanna hit the NYC area and postponed our US OPEN event to conflict with the boat ride. They easily transferred the tickets to the day time and we have a wonderful day on the Hudson. A Class Act!!! |

| the captain spent the last half hour sailing in a circle by the dock because he didn't time the event well. It was not a super-big deal as we all enjoyed the sail, but it would have been better to have just sailed a bit further before heading back to Chelsea Piers. I have come on this sail annually for several years now, and other captains have made these adjustments in the past. Highly recommend the excursion though. Thanks. |

| The sail was fantastic & relaxing!..The weather was perfect so that contributed to the entire experience. The crew were very pleasant & accommodating as well. It was our first time sailing in NY & we will definitely do it again! So much fun!...A GREAT way to spend Labor Day!... Will definitely recommend it to all our friends & family...Can't wait to do the evening sail tour. |

| We had a great time, though it wasn't exactly the tour we expected. The crew was enthusiastic and accommodating, but the tour was more of a boat ride than a NYC tour. We were expecting some history of New York and a description of the landmarks we passed but instead weren't given any descriptions throughout the whole ride. We did see many wonderful things, but a history lesson it was not. The drinks were endless which was nice, and the crew was more than willing to strike up a conversation and answer any questions (about sailing, other tours, and new york) but I didn't learn much otherwise.
Overall, a great tour, but not what I expected. |

| I had been wanting to go out for a sail for quite some time and luckily, being spur of the moment, my husband went online to find the Adirondack ready and waiting the day before our sail, which we booked for Labor Day, 2008.
The weather on Labor Day was just beautiful, a bit of wind. The boat was full. Our crew was very pleasant. The captain was entertaining and provided a safe ride. We took my parents along who also enjoyed the beautiful scenery and terrific weather. Our mate, Pat was eager to please. He was able to give us some history of the the harbor and the boat and it turns out I have sailed her before in Newport, RI. In fact we visit Newport most summers and sail the Adirondack II sunset cruise. Six years ago we chartered her and the Rum Runner for our wedding which was a huge hit with our guests.
We couldn't have enjoyed the sail of the NY Harbor more and will recommend it to our friends. I am sure we will book another sail next season. Thank you for providing us with a fond memory, a great sail, and another must on our to do list.
Sincerely,
Gwen Hughes |
