I took my wife and 3 boys, ages 10,8 and 5 on the afternoon cruise, and they all loved it. The 2 hour trip was just about long enough to keep the boys' interest and my wife and I got to see Manhattan in a unique way. The schooner was clean and safe, the crew attentive. My wife and I are planning another trip at sunset, leaving the boys at home this time. I highly recommend it.

Our group of six family enjoyed the day-sail on the Adirondack. The weather was perfect - enough breeze for sailing, but not too much for comfortable conversation and sight-seeing. It was nice to be served cold beer and soft drinks, and the crew was pleasant, knowledgeable and competant. Some of the other passengers were a bit loud and had more than they needed of the beer, but I appreciate that it is difficult for you to control that. I would certainly recommend the sail to others.

We had a great time with Captain Pete this weekend. It's not often you get to cruise around NYC on such a nice ship! Thanks!

| Great views of the Statue of Liberty. Enjoyed talking to the Captain throughout the trip. Great way to get a new perspective on the city and a great ride on a beautiful sailing vessel. Recommended.
Crew could have been a little more attentive on drinks.

Complimentary drinks were plentiful, the staff was so friendly, the captain even let little children "steer "the boat - would go again in a heartbeat....and definitely recommend to friends.

Beautiful ship and very nice Captain and crew. The kids loved driving the schooner. Easy parking, but limited, right at the marina in chelsea piers. Unfortunately we coudn't get too close to the statue of liberty b/c a movie was being filmed, but a nice outing anyway. Only 20 people on our trip, it holds 49 which might be a little too cozy.

This is romantic with a date or exciting with the children and family. The 'bring a picnic' feature makes this a super bargain also - beats one of those crowded tourist lunch boats and no one sings bad Broadway in your ear! I've been with my husband (smoked salmon and champagne picnic) with my son (all the free soda you want) and i'm going to take out-of-town guests for an unbelievably intimate up close view of the Statue of Liberty. It's 20 degrees cooler on the water and the sails make it silent and amazing. Can't recommend more highly.
