Day Sail on Schooners Adirondack

Absolutely one of the best things to do, to see New York City. The crew is great, the price can't be beat and the views are always majestic. I've been going on these 2 hr cruises for a number of years and although the crews change, they are always friendly and fun. I've been on the day cruise as well as the night cruise and the moonlight cruise and they all have they're own uniqueness. In this case size "does" matter. The sailboat is only about 80' long and only carries, I believe 40-50 persons so it's so much better than being on a much larger boat with so many more people, it's more intimate. I would highly recommend this, and do to everyone I know. Jexee....

Skimming over the water under sail-power, taking in the beautiful skyline, having nothing to do but enjoy, stress just slides off your shoulders. It's a two-hour vacation, but the mellowing effects last much longer. This is going to become a habit of mine. The people are very nice, no omnipresent commentary over loudspeakers, no rock music, no stinky oil-burning engine. This is pure pleasure.

I'm not normally one for sailing, but this was a very nice afternoon. You have your own space, and everyone is free to have their own conversations. It almost feels like you're on the boat with your party despite the fact that there are other groups there. It's more of a low-key atmosphere than a typical booze cruise, but the beers are good too. Overall it was a great experience at a reasonable price.

wine was terrible....... white wine beer choice........not happy I like Corona staff was totalllllllyyyyyyyyyy wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could afford to go sailing more often. thanks sooooooooooo much for a wonderful time.

What a wonderful thing to do to beat the heat in NYC........beautiful views of the NYC skyline! The crew was the best! Loved it..........

The experience was great. I live here and have done this trip before as a "farewell tour" for a friend that was moving out of Manhattan. I had friends in town from Vancouver, BC Canada and they had been to NY about 10 times already but said that this was the best NY experience they'd ever had. They said they were going to recommend it to everyone that comes to NY next.

We were in NY for a Business Meeting. A group of our Management took the Sail Cruise and they were just blown away. Best way to sight see NY from the Water. Very strongly recommended. Everything was very professional!! Thanks again!

We visit the City at least twice a year and try to do something different each time. We absolutely loved the sail and had a perfect day. I highly recommend this activity for anyone who enjoys something a little different, exciting and fun. Captain Cat and crew were great and expertly maneuvered the vessel around a busy harbor. The 3 of us enjoyed our sail on the Adirondack very much. It was a pleasant afternoon, the crew were great, and we enjoyed our view of the harbor - especially the Statue of Liberty.
