Day Sail on Schooners Adirondack

We had a fabulous time - thanks for everything! Loved the Captain, George, and Stuart. Good beer, beverages, and service. Awesome views... smooth sail - perfect.

No better way to spend a "Staycation" than on this cruise in lower manhattan. Crew was very accommodating and informative without being overbearing. Well worth the money. I will definitely try their other cruises!

We had a great time on the schooner adirondack. This was my second time sailing on the schooner. We gave this as a gift to my 13 yr. old niece. My 9 nine year old daughter, myself and my husband all went too. It is a very relaxing tour. You sail from Chelsea Piers down to the Statue of Liberty and back. We brought our own snacks and they offered beer, soda and water. My daughter brought along her digital camera and had a great time taking pictures. I think it is a nice way to spend quality family time together!

A relaxing cruise. A friday afternoon cruise starts the weekend off right. 2hrs just flew by. We will definately take another trip- perhaps a sunset or moonlight cuise. A lovely way to enjoy the NYC view. The crew was really nice as well as the other passengers. We had a wonderful time.

A romantic way to enjoy seeing the city harbour. You can even have a go at steering the boat.

Great views of the city in a relaxed atmosphere. Definitely an un-NY way to see NY.

This was a beautiful classy schooner that beats the heck out of the mass market NYC boat tours. The process to get on was very organized and the captain and crew were friendly and knowledgeable. The itinerary was good- they got up pretty close to the Statue of Liberty and the length of the ride was just right. Beer, water and soda was included. I would recommend this boat and this particular itinerary.

With my wife's children and grandchildren from abroad (total 6), my wife and I were on the late afternoon cruise on the Imagine July 13 and (by coincidence planned a Newpoer vacatuib) on the 7:00 p.m. Adirondack II on Friday, July 17. Both were delightful and will do it again any time we have out-of-town or out-of-country guests.. Only thing I can recommend that would have made either trip a little better is that crew in NYC could have explained to guests where they were or what they were seeing (the older captain in Newport was a delight with explanations and stories)..
