Day Sail on Schooners Adirondack

Great views of the city in a relaxed atmosphere. Definitely an un-NY way to see NY.

This was a beautiful classy schooner that beats the heck out of the mass market NYC boat tours. The process to get on was very organized and the captain and crew were friendly and knowledgeable. The itinerary was good- they got up pretty close to the Statue of Liberty and the length of the ride was just right. Beer, water and soda was included. I would recommend this boat and this particular itinerary.

This is a great way to see the Manhattan skyline in a nice and relaxing atmosphere.

This was a highlight of our trip to NYC. Had a fantastic time sailing around the city & the Statue of Liberty! I truly felt sorry for the poor people stuck on the "sightseeing boats" with 500 of their closest friends! Our boat had about 30 people on board - fantastic! The crew was great -- brought out our cold beers right away! It was so great to see the workings of such an old ship -- I've never seen a mast quite like it! This was a great trip, highly recommend!

My family and I really enjoyed our 2-hour tour. The Captain was entertaining with his bad jokes and his crew was very attentive. We felt safe and enjoyed our ride. I would recommend it; it was a nice change of pace.Thanks!

nice voyage

Although the threat of rain lingered all day, it turned out to be a great afternoon for a sail on The Hudson! Our Captain (Julian) and crew of the Imagine were more than friendly and took away the "touristy" feel of the cruise. It was like we had gathered for an afternoon sail with a group of good friends! My family and I are all native New Yorkers, but rarely take advantage of the sights of the city, especially on the waterways of NYC. While out on the Hudson, to our surprise, my husband and I had a bit of difficulty naming the different landmarks as we sailed up and down the Hudson. Our Captain explained various facts about NYC and the surrounding waterways that usually go unnoticed with the everyday hustle and bustle of our day to day lives living and working in the city. I must admit the experience by far exceeded our expectations and while onboard, my husband and I were already planning another day trip on the Imagine or Adirondack with our friends and family as well! They should tell you before they are about to make a steep turn....Fun, but a little warning would avoid a lot of mess with drinks. Also, I need to know when t hold onto my son a little tighter.

Friendly staff on the boat. Very accomidating. No complaints.
