Intimate and Charming!

| The cruise was phenomenal, albeit not what we expected. The boat was much smaller than anticipated, but that made for a level of intimacy that could never be achieved on a larger vessel. Instead of sitting at regular tables and having the traditional buffet line, there were individual alcoves of bench seating with low tables in front of each. Hence, each group has its own little space while maintaining an excellent view, as you can either look directly ahead to a window or turn around in your seat to a window. The food was delicious, and they kept bringing out course after course of tasty morsels, til we absolutely could not eat any more. We're hardpressed to come up with complaints, but if we had to mention some, it would be the following: Initially it was difficult to locate the boat as it was not clearly marked and the staff to help us arrived approximately 30 minutes before departure. Being earlier than that ourselves, we were a bit lost. Also, as far as the food area was concerned, it was a bit small, so it was challenging for all of us to navigate to get our food without a mini congregation of people somewhat in each others' way. Finally, although there were many many courses, so one didn't leave hungry, some of the food ran out before everyone who wanted some got some. Overall, the scenery and tour were magnificent, the boat was ideal, and it is highly recommended by every member of our group of 4, ranging in age from mid thirties to mid seventies. | ||||||

| Took my girl on the cruise as a Christmas present.. We both had an excellent time. Food was great. Seeing the city was great. And the crew members were very nice and informative. 100% recomended!!! Will def go back again. | ||||||

| We really enjoyed the cruise and the brunch on New Year's Day. Great combination of chilling out and seeing some NY sights! The weather wasn't ideal for taking pictures but that didn't spoil it at all! The boat wasn't too crowded so everyone could sit and relax and the crew made the journey a real pleasure! Thank you very much! | ||||||

| What a great way to spend part of the first day of a new year! The crew is as friendly as you can get and is quite attentive. The atmosphere is quite lively and there is always an easy banter with people you have just met. This our third year and it looks like it will be a family tradition. What made it the best of the three trips was due to the crew - while the other two trips were better than fine we think that the crew went way out of their way to ensure that we all had a great time. We would especially recommend this trip for visitors to the city so that they can get an idea of how great, and varied, a place that it is. Hope to see you all on 1 Jan 2011. | ||||||

| Food was good and cruise very relaxing, but for not a lot of commentary by the hostess in regards to notable NYC sites. Stories of local sites would help augment the experience for tourists not around the area. I felt I was on the Circle Line with only the rare commentary on what to look out for. | ||||||

| We had a group of three couples take the cruise last week. Temperature was very very cold so we were afraid they would cancel. But they did not--despite the cold and only 10 total people on the trip. We had a wonderful time. Boat is clean and comfortable, and crew was very friendly. Only suggestion is that I recall the add said open beer/champagne bar, but when we got there only the first drink was included. Just a minor issue and no big deal. I strongly recommend the trip. | ||||||

Cold wet day, warm euphoric event

| The day started out with freezing rain and the event from our perspective looked like it would be a bust. However, once onboard, the staff was accomodating, the information was very educating, and the wines were great! We forgot all about the rain outside and just enjoyed ourselves inside the warm glass window lined main tasting room. Wendy was an encycopedia of wine knowledge and the fact that many of the things we tasted, wine and cheese alike were produced right here in New York. I would definitely do this again and I recommend it to anyone. | ||||||
