The way to see New York City

| This was my first trip to New York City. My husband and I had reservations on the sunset cruise (1 1/2 hour cruise), but unfortunately, due to high winds, the trip was cancelled. The reservation desk called me to let me know the cruise had been cancelled and suggested booking on the brunch cruise the next morning. We agreed and took the 3 hour cruise (full island) which included a very well laid out brunch. We were able to book this elegant cruise for no extra charge. It was very intimate and relaxing -- no loud guides telling you to look out the left side for a view of . . . -- no loud music so that you could have quiet conversations with your companion or group. The Manhattan holds approximately 40 passengers, our cruise had 21 passengers -- there was no tripping over each other to see the best view. It was unhurried, with excellent views of everything you could possibly want to see in New York -- the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the U.N. building, the Empire State Building, Yankee Stadium and all of the bridges that New York is so famous for. No tourist trap here. Loved it!! | ||||||

| My daughter came to visit her grandmother and me and wanted to see the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline. We took a leap and signed up for your cruise and it was a complete hit. In addition, we made our reservation for Thursday and then got distracted and forgot to go. The captain called and rebooked us for the next day, Friday at no additonal charge. We had great service and great fun. Thank you!! I can't wait to go again. | ||||||

| I had an idea in my head of what to expect out of a sunset yacht cruise around New York. It far surpassed my expectations. The rare viewpoints of the skyline, the Statue of Liberty, and the Brooklyn Bridge to name a few from the water were absolutely amazing. I would absolutely make this a part of every trip I took to New York. The staff were incredibly courteous and informed. The yacht itself was comfortable and kept in pristine condition. If you're even considering taking this cruise, I highly encourage you to do this, if anything. Well worth it. | ||||||

| I wanted to find the best and most romantic way to ask my girlfriend to marry me...and this was it! The staff was so helpful even before I ever stepped on the yacht or even met them. I called ahead and they immediately gave me suggestions and advice on how to go about asking her on the cruise. Once there they helped put me at ease and keep my surprise before I asked her. Everything went off without a hitch and besides the wonderful crew the cruise was a great way to see a city I grew up just outside off and spent tons of time in since i was a kid. Thanks. | ||||||

| This is a phenomenal cruise to bring the special woman in your life on a special occasion. Maybe even your parents that are visiting and want a nice tour of the city. The food is great and the crew is awesome. When I went, some guy sitting next to me proposed to his girlfriend right infront of the statue of liberty. Its a great 3 hours well spent at the cost. | ||||||

| I gave this outing to my boyfriend as a Christmas gift. It was a very foggy, rainy day, but we still really enjoyed the experience. We did not get to see spectacular sunny views, but we did get a lot of really interesting pics of the city in the fog. We live in Upper Manhattan and enjoyed the tour up and around northern Manhattan. We were expecting a light continental breakfast, and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. There was an array of bagels and fresh fruit plus hot foods like quiche and waffles. The coffee was even good! The staff was great - friendly and helpful. The skipper did a great job, despite the added stress of all the fog and rain. The boat is beautiful - the interior is a glassed in room with plenty of comfortable seating. We had about 30 passengers and did not feel crowded at all. Half of the passenger were in groups, the rest couples, and you were free to mingle or find a quiet corner. We intend to bring friends and go again! | ||||||

| The trip was on the NYC website as recommened and we thought, as it was our first day in the city, we'd start with something quite leisurely... The whole trip was fantastic from start to finish - from the initial welcome we received from the crew, to the minute we disembarked over 3 hours later. Describing it as a simple brunch was an understatement - the variety and quality of the food was superb - you could litterally eat and drink for the whole 3 hours if you wished! The guide books that were available on board were very informative and gave a yard by yard description of the view. We could not recommend this trip highly enough - 5 star | ||||||

| Most part it was a real wonderful and a different adventure. The staff on the cruise as well as everyone was really nice. We got there about 15 min late due to the traffic but it was really nice of them to wait for us. We really appreciate it what they did for us and the trip surely was worth it. Surely must do 100% if you want to have a nice time and have the feel and sense of new york from being out and not being on the streets of new york. Ttruly wonderful.!!!!!! | ||||||

Very Pleasant, Intimate Afternoon on the Water

| My girlfriend and I took this brunch cruise as part of our 1 1/2 year anniversary celebration. I was very nervous about a number of factors when I booked the cruise (what if the ship is too crowded, weather , food quality, etc), but it wound up being a wonderful afternoon. My girlfriend was very surprised and I won major brownie points, so it worked out better than anticipated. Our cruise took us south to the statue and then back up the Hudson to arround the Tappan Zee to take in the last of the Fall foilage. The sights were quite pretty, the food tasty, the yacht GORGEOUS and the crew and other passengers were a delight. There were about 20 passengers total on our cruise, which felt like an appropriate crowd for the size of the yacht. Everyone got along very well, but you can socialize or not as you like. the ship is big enough to allow for some more intimate "alone time" but small enough to bring people together too. I highly recommend a brunch cruise on The Manhattan, whether you're visiting and want to learn more about NYC or just need a break from the city life, as we did. | ||||||

| Everything was perfect (the boat - the crew - the brunch). We were a group of 15 people from Switzerland and I can say that all of us enjoyed the Cruise. The objective was to celebrate an important event by doing something special in Manhattan. We will keep amazing memories. I srtongly recommand this activity. Really good value. Vincent Switzerland P.S. Next time we will try the cuise with Adirondak Sailing Boat | ||||||
