| The night was perfect....the water calm and peaceful... Vistas great and great commentary by our captain. Friendly attentive staff and captain ...great friends and new ones on board. Felt oh so much better when I left than when I came. Can't wait to do it again.. | ||||||

| Our first sail on the Adirondack, as part of an anniversary celebration, was very enjoyable. The schooner is impeccably maintained and about the cleanest boat I've ever been on; the crew were expert and energetic. I would have preferred more time under sail and less motoring, but we'd selected the sunset trip and I know the evening calm took much of the control over that decision out of the captain's hands. Only by motoring could we make it to even one landmark, the Statue of Liberty, and a leg up the East River was out of the question in the time we had. Perhaps the company would consider billing some sails as "sightseers" (make it to certain points by whatever means) and other sails as "sailers" (enjoy making way under sail whether or not they get to any specific destination). I would recommend a sail on the Adirondack to anyone considering it. Now I've just go to figure out how I can manage to charter her for a whole day sometime. | ||||||

| There were 17 of us on this ride for my husband's 40th birthday. Everyone loved it! We were a little nervous about the weather and you have to wait until the last minute to know if you are going or not (hard for non-nyc people) but it turned out to be a beautiful night. The crew was friendly and very accomodating and the ride was wonderful. I made a picnic dinner for each of our guests, and the crew provided the drinks. My husband and I would go on it again (perhaps by ourselves...to make it more romantic). The 6pm-8pm trip was perfect for getting a bit of the view during the sun light and then returning with the lights of the city. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! | ||||||

| Our group had a terrific outing on the Adirondack. Captain Pete and his crew were so friendly and they answered all our questions. We met a family from Florida and really found that our time together on the boat fostered community, companionship, and relaxation! Can't wait for the Fall Foliage Sail! | ||||||

| Even with cloudy skies the sail was magnificent. My friend had not sailed prior to this experience and was delighted with the whole process. It was fun, the crew is enjoyable and knowledgeable for history of the area, and the beverages were nice as well. Thanks. | ||||||

| it was advertised as a 2 hour ride. It was an hour 20 minutes. Gyped !!! Crew very pleasent, nice boat, NO wine, only beer, soda or water ???? but still fun. | ||||||

| Both my boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience. The crew was extremely courteous and very knowledgable about New York City. Although it was a cool evening in September when we went, there were plenty of blankets to keep everyone warm. When the engine was cut and we were able to sail, it was so quiet and relaxing. The views of New York and the Statue of Liberty at night were breathtaking. I highly recommend the night cruise to everyone who wants to see the city at night. | ||||||

| Seeing the sun set is fabulous on this cruise, really good photo opportunities. Crew very friendly. Bring a food hamper and enjoy the sail. | ||||||

| I have had the pleasure of sailing along the west side on three separate occasions and when you want to impress someone, take them sailing. It is definitely one of the most romantic and peaceful ways to view the city. I am a local and recommend the sunset sail on Sunday nights at 8:30pm. It is a great way to end a date or a weekend, not to mention you tend to have more locals on board with you. The two hour ride is delightful and I guarantee you will remember it as one of the coolest things you can do in the city. The crew is wonderful and attentive, a must for anyone who loves Manhattan, being on the water and sipping red wine. | ||||||
