Classic Harbor Line

As a boater who wished to avoid a tight crowd I was disappointed as I felt you oversold the boat. Seating was unpleasant. I talked this boat up but was embarassed to my 3 friends.

Having visited Manhatten many times, I had many years ago done the Circle Line Tour around the island but this is the best way to take a break from the rush/intense city. Being a boater for years the boat exceeded my expectations. The crew made you feel welcome and appreciated and as a Southerner I say we might take lessons from these Yankees regarding hositality . The food much better than most sightseeing boats and I have done several. With out a doubt the best bang for your buck visiting the Big Apple !

Great crew, boat, night. They have blankets but dress warmly even when the weather is nice it gets windy on the water. We also brought food but they have a great selection of craft beers, wines, champagne etc.

had a great time even though it rained. staff was friendly and attentive. raincoats were provided. would definitely recommend it to others rain or shine.

The food was bountiful and delicious. The boat was comfortable and spacious. The crew was professional and courteous. I can't wait to take another cruise on this boat.

It is my second trip with the Sunset cruise, and it seems to get better each time. Perfect weather, gracious hosts, a beautiful boat, the most glorious sunset and generously flowing champagne. While its a group sail, the low numbers of guest and attentativeness of your crew help to provide a very intimate and personal feel throughout the sail. You really have put together a most wondeful, and memorable product of the highest quality! Keep up the good work. I am sure to recommend and bring along many more friends in the coming years. We had a great time on this sail. The crew was very friendly. Beautiful view of lower Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty! Just remember to bring a hat and sunscreen as there is little shade on a sunny day.

made this a cruise for all senses aboard the Manhattan. The narrator was very knowledgeable; in fact I think he could have said even more about every building if he'd had time! There's also quite a fine wine, cheese, and fruit spread - must be related to the Manhattan's other offering of a wine tasting cruise. You must see the NYC skyline this way.

This was my second cruse on the Schooner Adirondack -- first time with family, this time with business associates. Relaxing, beautiful, peaceful, and interesting.

My mother comes to town usually once a year and she's been enough times that we have pretty much done all of the tourist "must dos." This trip, she wanted to do a cruise around Manhattan. I did my research and found your line recommended through NY Mag. I was booked on the smaller boat and a nice lady called the day of and upgraded us which was wonderful. I usually suffer through tours with her but this was a true delight. The boat was beautiful and we had an amazing summer breeze and sunset. The heavy-handed champagne pours and friendly crew definitely made it all worthwhile. I would go again with friends in the city. I think I had the equivalent of $80.00 of drinks when you consider New York City prices. The view was a bonus.

An historic small boat, small number of people, excellent knowledgeable architectural guides, even free drinks (one) and good food. I stood up the whole time in the bow soaking it all in.

quiet, relaxing, worth the time

Docent excellent on-going descriptions and history as we passed down Hudson and into lower Manhattan.. John answered questions and moved around the cabin to be accessible to all. Trip was a success, seeing so many buildings that are difficult or impossible to see from land vantage point. Besides the architecture, it was a good geography and history lesson of the area and the rebirth of waterfront. Food and drinks were a delightful surprise and enjoyed by all.

I went on this trip with a small group of friends and my wife. The weather was great; the crew very professional, friendly and informative; the lunch was tasty; and the service impressive (especially navigating the deck with out loosing their balance). Of course the schooner itself was beautiful.
