Really enjoyed this sunset sail. The crew is fabulous, takes good care of your every need.

I had orginally thought I booked the Sail Boat - I am so happy I made a mistake. The trip was wonderful, the Captain and staff were excellent and I especially loved the idea that I could sit inside out of the sun if I wanted to - it was completely air conditioned. Would Highly Recommend - Learned things about NYC that I didnt know - even as a born and raised city girl.

My wife and I took the schooner Adirondack last week as part of our 5th anniversary celebration. We went on the 3:45 sail and had just a perfect afternoon. It was a fairly hot day, but much cooler on the water. Even being born and raised here, it was just great to see the city from different angles. Its not challenging physically, but it manages to feel slightly adventurous as the boat heel over an runs down the Hudson. Especially interesting were the old fortifications, Lady Liberty, Ellis Island, Governor's Island and the Brooklyn Bridge. If you're visiting I guarantee you a great experience. The schooner itself is beautiful and lovingly maintained. The crew are hardworking and polite and while this is not a guided tour, they are very happy to explain the sights. It's no booze cruise, but the beer, water and soda was constantly offered (a decent selection of beer, at that). There's no food, so plan to eat first or after. Given what it costs to go to a movie, go to dinner or (God forbid) a Broadway show, this is one of the best deals in town for locals or tourists (and there was a decent mix on the boat). I would highly recommend the trip for a tour or a very special date. Next, were going to try for a sundown sail. Enjoy.

A great way to spend two hours in New York! The crew was engaging and friendly. The schooner was a gentle and peaceful way to make our way to the statue of Liberty and back. A truly great ride! Loved watching the captain and crew work the sails and navigate the boat. Looking up at the sails billowed out with the NY harbor breeze, on a beautiful summer Sunday afternoon in New York was one of the prettiest sights of our trip. Highly reccommended.

Informative, relaxing, interesting

Of the about 30 people on board, my 9-year-old grandson Noah was the only child. He and I loved this interesting and enjoyable experience and found the docents very informative and personable. The complimentary food and beverages were an unexpected plus.

We had a great time on the boat trip - the captain was engaging and fun. They served a small selection of beers or soda and kept us hydrated with constant water refills on a hot day. They even passed around sunscreen. One thing to note is that it is NOT a tour. No one is narrating the trip, but you get a lovely view of Manhattan and get very close to Liberty Island. I'd highly recommend it.

This is a must! New York City looks amazing by night and this must be one of the best ways to see the city. The drink flowed well and the atmosphere onboard was wonderful. What's nice about the trip is that there is no commentry. You just soak up the atmosphere and the views on a sailing ship - fantastic!

We chose the city lights sail for an anniversary date and I couldn't have been happier with it! The crew was friendly and the views of the city and Statue of Liberty were spectacular. A perfect summer evening!

Three of my best friends and I decided to go on a girls trip to NYC. Two live there but we are all natives from Fort Worth, Texas. We wanted to do a dinner cruise but after looking at the prices on the bigger ships we decided it was out of our budget. Luckily, I found Zerve and located an amazing sunset cruise that included drinks and you could bring on your own food. The price was amazing and with all the added perks, like drinks and carry-on food, we booked immediately! I am so happy we did because it was effortless and such an enjoyable experience. I've already recommended this tour and Zerve to all my friends who are planning on taking a trip to NYC soon. I think you should expand to other major cities!

Our group of girlfriends found that the Schooner Adirondack sail was a perfect way to wind down after a busy day of shopping, sightseeing & walking all over Manhattan. The crew was so friendly, the sail was perfect and the photo ops plentiful. Put your feet up, enjoy a glass of wine, relax & enjoy the great views!

Went on a 2 hour sail on the Pilot Schooner Adirondack, this Sat. pm. It was terrific!!! Gorgeous boat to look at and to sail on. I went with senior citizens and it was easy to board with a large comfortable, cushioned cockpit to sit on. (Even when we were heeling almost 45 degrees under sail.) And does it sail! I'm an avid sailor for 30 years and seen the beautiful Andirondack and Andirondack III tack back and forth across NY harbor for years. Finally got to sail on it and it was a thrill to sail on it and watch the great city go by. Great way to see the city from the water without the noisy smoky engines. Very calm and peaceful respite from the city noise. The Captain and crew of two were very courteous and competent, and they served us drinks (beer included). If there's some showers there is plenty of room down below for shelter. There is a marine toilet aboard if you really need it but use the bathrooms around the corner before you board, otherwise you'll have to manually pump clean the toilet. In short, well worth the money, great sailing on a Cool sleek boat, and you get a wonderful view of the city. Great for dates, I'd go again.
