Classic Harbor Line

My wife and I truly enjoyed the sail. The nice thing about it was that once we left the pier and got out into the Hudson the captain put up the sails and shut down the engine. All onboard enjoyed the wonderful weather and the peace and quiet of sailing. It was much nicer sailing than motoring.

My husband and I took this day sail based on so many great reviews that we saw, and I am certainly glad that we did. It was great to get away from the crowds and noise of the city but still view it from the water. We got great views of the city plus the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. We noticed other boats and ferries on the water at the same time that we were there, but I don't believe that we would have enjoyed our trip as much on one of those. The fact that we were on a sail boat and that the engines were cut off for the majority of the time made it a neat and enjoyable experience. This was probably the best thing that we did on our visit to NYC. We would highly recommend it.

The trip started off with sunshine and flowing wine. When the weather turned the crew did an amazing job of keeping us all safe and afloat. The double rainbow at the end of the brief squall was well worth the 10 min downpour. I highly recommend this trip. We had an amazing time.

I went on the 2 hour day cruise with a group of colleagues from work. The crew were so nice, the boat was beautiful, and the weather was perfect. It was exciting to sail, as it was my first time, and it was so much fun that I will do it again next month. It was a great value at $45. For two hours of fun, it was well worth it since that amount buys a round of drinks for my friends when we go out. Not to mention the crew serves you up a few beers included in the price. I am very particular and have experienced a ton of interesting things as a local New Yorker, and this is one of my favorites. Skip the Circle Line and all other boats, this is authentic and fun.

My 17 year old son and I were in NYC for just 2 days, and this boat tour was a big highlight for us both. My son LOVED it. It is peaceful and relaxing, which was a great way to 'cool down' after an energetic day in the city. Sights were beautiful, and we also enjoyed sailing - a first for both of us. After doing this, neither of us would consider a 'larger/touristy' boat trip, or even a day trip. Really enjoyed our evening! Thanks!!!!!!!

The captain welcomed us aboard and set the tone for the tour. Very professional and courteous. As we cruised down the Hudson we were provided with a lot of information, tidbits, and interesting facts of the surrounding area. While enjoying a nice cold beer we enjoyed the scenery and the commentary. The time flew by.

Ours was a mother/daughter group that comes every year to NYC, primarily for musical theatre. However, each year we look for something new and different to give each trip its special something. This year we decided to go with this sailing experience. It was better than we ever dreamed! Our of eight varied in ages from 14 to 60 and everyone loved it! The boat was beautiful and it was a perfect night for sailing. It was quiet and so relaxing--a pleasant rest after several days going at a non-stop pace. We appreciated the quiet and peacefulness of just sailing. The view was spectacular. The crew was attentive. I would highly recommend this event for anyone. Just don't go expecting that it's going to be a sightseeing excersion where you get a minute-by-minute explanation of what you're seeing. The whole experience is just too beautiful to be interrupted with dialogue for the sake of dialogue.

We had a wonderful sunset cruise to celebrate our son's 21st and daughter's 18th birthday. It was great to be on a boat with a small group of people, the crew were really friendly. We had a fairly good wind so were able to sale the entire trip. We all really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely do this type of sailing adventure again. Thanks.

We took this cruise for our 35th anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was delicious and plentiful and the crew was very pleasant and helpful.

There was a large group of Australians who all live here in NYC and gathered together for a fun afternoon our in the sun. The staff were great, the views were gorgeous. Fantastic afternoon had by all!

For anyone interested in either historic or contemporary architecture and design this tour was a delight. Plus the boat itself was extremely comfortable - and the wine and cheese didn't hurt.
