Classic Harbor Line

This was one of the funnest things that I have done since I moved to NYC. The people manning the boat were very hospitable and even allowed some of our group members to help out with general chores of raising the sail and steering the ship. We were allowed to move around the boat freely and the three drinks were great--not skimpy at all. We sailed around the Statue of Liberty and got to view the entire downtown city. I would definitely recommend doing this with visiting family members--it is not as touristy as you may think.

The crew was very very very nice. It was a lovely trip. The group of about a dozen hipsters was pretty obnoxious. I appreciated that the captain respectfully asked one of them to turn off her iPhone music. For two hours, people in the group were making a steady trail to the bathroom- it was pretty clear that they were doing coke. It would be nice if there was a maximum group size (maybe 6?) and require larger groups to charter the whole boat. But the crew and the ship and sailing at sunset made for a memorable excursion that I will recommend to friends.

From start to finish a wonderful experience. Being a sailor myself, I was even invited to "captain" the boat for a few minutes. Staff was very friendly and helpful, wine was good, and the weather was great! A great way to get out on the water without all the tourists and tour guides.

Perfect from start to finish...weather decent, sailed to Statue of Liberty and back., crew members helpful and friendly, free drinks for all/./. great sightseeing...a memorable experience,,,worth repeating.

A couple of my friends go on this sailing tour all the time and it is fun to go as a group as well. The crew is very attentive and helpful, we especially like the bottles of bubbly ($20) which are fun to share on the water. I recommend bringing guests from out of town because the boat goes close to the statue of liberty and Ellis island, also showing views of the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridge. They should make a membership or a pass with special rates, we would go all the time!

We had an excellent time - a sailing boat is perfect for a breezy Saturday afternoon in early summer. Even though some of the passengers were slightly obnoxious, the crew was very nice and professional - never imposing, but always around and available. The cruise can be improved slightly if it also takes a turn up the east river to, say, UN level, although such a modification would lengthen it considerably. All in all, a very good experience.

My party consisted of 3 of my sister-in-laws, my daughter and my best friend. The weather was perfect. The Captain and crew were so friendly. Wendy Crispell was our hostess. She was very knowledgeable about each wine she presented along with the cheeses she served for each wine. She gave us the history behind each wine and vineyard. She has a great personality and therefore made learning even more fun. The boat was beautiful and held just the right amount of people. We are definitely considering doing another cruise, maybe the chocolate, cheese and wine one! This time with more of our family! All and all it was a great day and will do it again....

Good tasting, nice boat, a bit pricey.

I wanted something to do with my kids that was different. We all had a great experience. I went with my four kids ages from 13 years to 5 years old. They all enjoyed it. The food was wonderfull and plentiful. A great way to enjoy the city, gave me an opportunity to do a bit of history lesson with the kids too!!! All around great experience that we will always remember.

The brunch cruise was really great! Surprised my boyfriend for his first weekend free after finals and it was a really great day...something different than the typical Saturday (we're from Brooklyn). It was fun to see Manhattan from a different view. Good food, yummy drinks, nice staff, no cheesy guests. We wish it didn't go by so fast but we would do it again in a heartbeat!

We were lucky to have a balmy, sunny day. The group was friendly and we spent our time time with a lovely couple from Ohio. The food was especially good, as was the commentary as we sailed along. Rain would not have spoiled the experience. We would definitely recommend this to our friends.
